What travellers are saying
- Eyal AsherHod Hasharon, Israel3,561 contributionsThis nice market is located in the city center, not far from other attractions in the city, all within walking distance.
There are fruits, vegetables, food and beer stalls, clothing and more in the market.
The atmosphere here is great and everything is fresh.
Those who love markets will enjoy here very muchWritten 8 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Bob PasiekaGlacier National Park of Canada, Canada2 contributionsNice shopping mall. - amyFairfield, CT356 contributionsTo watch people, enjoy local vibe . This is actually one of the nice spot to buy some local food/products or just stop by to watch the local vibe. Pretty safe - to my relief. Any market get my husband pumps due to unpleasant experience we had in the past… it’s quite large, has open market, covered market and on the river side, they have have a few stalls (designed by this famous local person) that sells very reasonably priced local food.Written 22 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Arjan Pregl4 contributionsI have been cooperating withe the Galeery Y for a couple of years now. As an artist. What I really like about it is the vision of not only exibiting very good art, but also the wish and willingness to get the art in touch with art lovers … existing and also those, who don't know they are art lovers yet.Written 24 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RAINFOOTSingapore, Singapore19 contributionsEdgy, meaningful and full of nostalgia - a gallery which makes you feel and think in many different ways. As a traveller in Ljubljana, I gained fresh eyes to the society via the artworks and chat with the founder, Piera. Appreciate the sincerity and passion the gallery gives growing talent and Art and look forward to more world-moving conversations in this space, and beyond. Go check it out!Written 11 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Blue Sky BelieverCounty Dublin, Ireland21 contributionsThis was a really engaging exhibition which charted the career of French photographer Marc Riboud over 50 years. While the exhibitions obviously change over time, at €3 admission, it's well worth a visit. Small enough to visit in an hour (depending of course how interested you are!)Written 21 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Miha PMaribor, Slovenia8,808 contributionsThis place is gallery and shop at the same time. Owner works with good local and very good international photographs. They sell books and photos. Prices are not low for Ljubljana and location is in less known corner near St. James church.Written 5 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Sonja P3 contributionsThe ceramic workshop started with fresh brewed lemon/ginger tea. Immediatley we felt welcome and comfy. Bojana firstly introduced all the materials and on our own we began to form our Ramen Bowl(price was amazing). She was open for all our own creative ideas and questions. The atmosphere was warm and calm. The small group of us five was great for individual working. Bojana talked in english with us. Best opportunities for having a wonderful experience in making ceramic art and get to know a lovely person. Thank you Bojana!Written 4 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Miha PMaribor, Slovenia8,808 contributionsNovember is not always the best season for Ljubljana. Days can be cold and rain will force you to find some museum or gallery. In November (also December) 2018 you can find nice exhibition in the City Gallery, some steps from Town Hall. Entrance fee is low. There are two flats with exhibition of Drago Tršar. He is well known sculptor of many monuments. Exhibition shows something different for adults. You can enjoy in erotic sculptures of all kinds and materials, mainly bronze and ceramic. They added some paintings and sketches. Visit the show and you will find some new energy and vividness.Written 25 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Miha PMaribor, Slovenia8,808 contributionsAt the SE edge of the inner city is a huge complex of former Tobacco factory. It was open in the late 19. century. Smallest building in the area is rearranged to a small museum inside. You can learn something about the history of smoking, about different use of tobacco, about the production in the factory, brand names, design. Nice for a short review.Written 15 September 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David ABoston, UK137 contributionsI always feel a bit out of my depth in modern art galleries. They are disturbing and unnerving places and this fits the pictures. 5 or 6 rooms of uncomfortable art reflecting the perception of the artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The video about the death of Tito shows you just how much Slovenia has changed.Written 10 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Alenka LLjubljana, Slovenia19 contributionsLocated on the Plečnik central market, Dobra Vaga gallery is located in a beautiful situated place, overlooking the river. Slovenian contemporary artists at affordable prices. There is a bar inside as well.Written 24 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
