Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had some free time so decided to visit , very cheap and was surprisingly interesting
It’s not obvious where you should go and some things seem in off order but section on how museum was constructed is really good
Worth a visit if you’re at a loose end but don’t make this a “must see”

Brought 3 teenagers whilst on a trip to Krakow. We all loved it, eve us oldies. Great value and fantastic choice of games. Lids loved the selection of games and that games are limited. Highly recommend. We got a taxi from Krakow old town to Arcade Museum with no issues and they returned 2 hours later to bring us back to the city.

Mam at front desk was super friendly. Great experience

We started our holiday to Krakow with a trip to the underground museum. It was really interesting, although I struggled to see that well as the lighting is a little dark. Really loved the tunnels and all the photos of them uncovering the old buildings. The videos were interesting too. Definitely recommend a visit to learn a bit more about the history of the square.

Well curated museum explaining the everyday life (centuries ago), the folklore, arts&crafts of Poland.

Quiet, clean, well explained, interesting reproductions of past everyday life to discover on the Ground Floor.

Recommend to explore&enjoy GF and 1. Floor (2nd Floor was more kind of bric-à-brac, to be missed).

Located in the Kazimierz part of Krakow, this synagogue offers a lot of explanations concerning the Jewish religion, culture, history etc.

What we didn't like was the fact that strictly NO security measures were taken at all, no bag check etc, nothing!? Normally right now (Sept.2024) this might lead to serious problems 😱

Good and interesting museum with a bunker below….also free entrance to another museum 15 mins walk away but I got to what appeared to be the building but didn’t enter as saw no mention of a museum there
The lady on the ticket desk was helpful and pleasant

Spent an hour or so looking around here, a great place to visit if medieval art is your thing, we almost had the whole place to ourselves which was nice but a shame more people don't check it out.

It's a beatiful building, right in the centre of Cracow. Good to visit from history and art perspective.

The museum was very interesting, we particularly enjoyed the Peruvian exhibit and the scale models of different civilisations per time period.

Unfortunately some of the exhibits were closed including the garden, however we still had a lovely visit.

The staff were very friendly and guided us around the exhibits.

Overall, we would recommend (particularly for the good price!) But maybe check which exhibits are open ahead of time.

Not much interesting to see except the artists illustrated works (which were interesting to me but not my husband) - the house is very simple and the interior decor and has very little of real interior interest-
We note several reviews saying the people who work the are rude- please know they are not rude- they are very polite and nice- they (Poles) don’t smile like Americans and most don’t have really good English skills- so ask yourself, you are in Poland- how are your Polish language skills? Also they are not “following you” because they think you’re going to steal something, it is their job to protect the work and, unbelievably, a lot of tourists have no problem touching anything not behind a rope!

The former palace now houses different exhibitions. We had a very interesting Krakow 1900 exhibition with a lot of atrifacts, painting, statues. It was really amazing.

This is a very educational place but also heartbreaking. Only downfall is they need the clips and audio in English. There is over 2 hours worth or reading here. And most of the English is small print which would be a lot better if bigger. Do not get a tour here as they are ridiculous over priced. Do not get a taxi from out side as they are over double. I would recommend a uber or calling a service.

Excellent visit, so interesting, full of information. Hidden Gem. Please give this place some love especially when so close to Schindler's factory. I learned more about the area here than did anywhere else in Krakow.

We were lucky enough to visit for free as it was a Wednesday, don't know if it would be worth paying for at full price though.
We were surprised by how well preserved everything was.
The rooms were all well looked after and there was information on each one in English as well as other languages, it is a good insight as to how well off and influential families lived.
We really enjoyed our short visit here.

This museum covers European Art from the 12th to 20th Centuries. It is in a restored 17th Century granary. The collection is not huge but of great quality. Lucas Cranach, Luca Giordano, Lorenzo Lotto and many others. The display of the artwork is stunning.

This museum is also covered in the MMK Museum Pass (35 zloty) and is a block away from Józef Piłsudskiego Street, if walking to or back from the National Museum.

It is definitely worth finding and viewing at the masterpieces here, just ignore the very unfriendly staff who act as if it is a burden to let you in! I was the only other patron beside two monks
