Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The basilica (a good deal at about $6) is impressive inside and out, though it felt a little less impressive as we just came from the Cathedral. That said, the cemetery is also nice and it’s very relaxing on a nice day, with good views of Prague. The guided tour, mentioned by other reviewers, may have been additive.

Modern building constructed in 1996 and designed by Frank Gehry. Intriguing architecture with the adjacent buildings looking like they are dancing together. Is it worth going out of your way to see with all the other wonderful sights in Prague? Probably not. However, it is easy enough to reach by hopping on one of the trams travelling along the river especially if you combine it with the nearby worthwhile Cyril and Methodius Church or if you plan to spend some time relaxing along the river.

This is the site where Czech paratroopers went into hiding after their assassination attempt (Operation Anthropoid) on Reinhard Heydrich, the highest ranking Nazi assassinated during WW2. You can still see the impacts of bullets around the window from a gun battle with the Nazi's days after the attempt. There is a small but very well done museum on site too that outlines the events surrounding the operation. From the museum, you enter the crypt of St. Cyril where some of the paratroopers made their last stand. The crypt now houses memorials to the fallen heroes. To better understand the significance of the event and this site in particular, I highly recommend watching the 2016 movie "Anthropoid" before you visit.

What a fabulous day we had at Vyšehrad! While still in Prague, we felt like we were a million miles away as it was not overrun with tourists. The cathedral is absolutely beautiful and by far our most favorite of all we have seen in all of Europe.

The farmer's market was such a great stroll. The food was great and the wine shops were wonderful. We loved it so much the first time that we returned the following Saturday.

Basilica Of St Peter And St Paul is an absolutely wonderful church I always love to see.
Built during the reign of King Vlatislàw II and constructed between 1070-1080 ,this church was originally built in the Romanesque style of architecture but after a devastating fire in 1249 was rebuilt in the Gothic style of architecture we see today, the most distinctive features of the church are the beautiful spires ,each spire is 58 metres high,if you're planning a holiday to Prague its a church to most definitely check out and easy to locate along Rotunde in the Praha 8 district.

I love old European train stations, and this one did not disappoint. Took a train from here to Regensburg. Nice shops, good signage for directions. You also have to stop and see the giant Lego model of the station inside.

We were escaping the star room and it was super fun. The best room we came across yet. It is fully interactive and does not have these sometimes boring numberlocks. Our operators Pepa Viky and Maru were so fun, kind and helpful, they made the experience so much better. Thank you!

Easy to use AE Bus between airport & mainline train station in Prague.
    100Kr each way.

    Airport- Prague Mainline station
The bus stop is outside Terminal 1&2.

Make sure you get on the correct bus as other buses use the stop. You need bus with ‘AE’ on the front.
No need to buy ticket before boarding. Just pay driver.
Journey time 35/45 mins. Departs every 1/2hr.

    Prague mainline station- Airport

Easy to find. Outside station on main concourse level. If you’ve arrived by a mainline train, stay on the same level and make your way outside.
Look for the ‘AE’ bus stop.
The bus first stop will pull up outside terminal one at the airport.

Important to ensure that you get on the right bus as other buses require a ticket bought from the machines before you board. Bus drivers on other buses will not take payment from you as I discovered and you will risk a fine with no ticket.

Off the beaten track but worth it. History everywhere and one of the most beautiful churches we have ever visited. We spent several hours looking around, it felt like minutes.
