Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- l0ladayBoston, MA2 contributionsAmazing experience! Our driver Felipe was great! He was on time, professional, friendly and a great driver. His car was a luxury one so the ride was very comfortable and smooth. We went from Porto to Comporta in Portugal but he told us he does even longer drives, like to Spain, and has driven in many different countries before. (Request him as a driver if you're in the porto area!) We were so happy with Daytrip that we cant wait to use it again for future travels. It's so conveinent, easy to book, and saved us so much time and hassle to get to our next destination.Written 8 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roena OCoronado, CA100 contributionsWell worth doing! Over 65 tickets are free. Tram stop about a block away. NOT wheelchair accessible. You can leave your chair inside the ticket office area and walk the approx. 8 stairs up to the car on each end. Nice view from the cable cars.Written 23 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Li nStockholm, Sweden30 contributionsWe used Prague Airport Transfer with the option 'minivan, 8 people - for 990 czk' and was very happy with the service! It seemed to have been a small misunderstanding where we were supposed to be picked up, but the driver called us and solved the 'problem' really quick. We got help with our luggage from the friendly chauffeur, and at the car we were provided with both water, a tour guide book and a map. There was a quick ride (25-30 minutes) to our hotel in central Prague, and when we a few days later booked a ride back we got the same driver again.Written 10 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ron TGreenville, SC4,393 contributionsI love old European train stations, and this one did not disappoint. Took a train from here to Regensburg. Nice shops, good signage for directions. You also have to stop and see the giant Lego model of the station inside.Written 21 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FionaCDEBerkhamsted, UK26 contributionsEasy to use AE Bus between airport & mainline train station in Prague.
100Kr each way.
Airport- Prague Mainline station
The bus stop is outside Terminal 1&2.
Make sure you get on the correct bus as other buses use the stop. You need bus with ‘AE’ on the front.
No need to buy ticket before boarding. Just pay driver.
Journey time 35/45 mins. Departs every 1/2hr.
Prague mainline station- Airport
Easy to find. Outside station on main concourse level. If you’ve arrived by a mainline train, stay on the same level and make your way outside.
Look for the ‘AE’ bus stop.
The bus first stop will pull up outside terminal one at the airport.
Important to ensure that you get on the right bus as other buses require a ticket bought from the machines before you board. Bus drivers on other buses will not take payment from you as I discovered and you will risk a fine with no ticket.Written 9 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WorldWishSingapore, Singapore498 contributionsFastest way to move around Prague and the services are very efficient. Very good for tourists.
One needs to ensure that you buy the right ticket. Tickets are easy to buy at the machines the the bust /tram/metro stations. One can use cards to buy the same.
One must ensure that the tickets are validated at the time of use else you can be fined heavily by the ticket checkers. Tickets can be validated on board on your first journey.
One word of caution for the elderly travelers/people who are uncomfortable taking long escalators. In some stations, the escalator ride to the platform from the street is really long and scarry sometime due to the height. So if you are not the kind comfortable with such ride please look for the lifts. This is from my personal experience.

Chris provided excellent communication and allowed payment in advance, plus the price was very reasonable. Our first driver had to wait for over an hour for us to get our bags due to unprecedented congestion at our terminal and was very accommodating. The vehicles were both comfortable and both drivers were native English speakers. Chris also allowed us to change our pick-up time without any hassle.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ginges_revengeBrisbane, Australia5,860 contributionsMustek station is part of an excellent metro system. The station is clean and tidy. It is a change over for Lines A and B. It is easy to navigate with plenty of good signage.
A lot of people also overlook the part of the old bridge which is located in the station. Have a look when you go by at a piece of the city's history.
A great part of the city's metro system.Written 31 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The way down was shorter because no waiting and the quick ride. Fine that it is included at a daily transportation pass.Written 18 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - K.T.21 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic service we booked one way from airport to hotel but we’re so happy with the service we booked return transfer with them too (this could be done together but we wanted to ensure it was reliable first) and It certainly was, The drivers were on time and very polite the map and guide book came in very handy too thank you, I would definitely recommend.Written 18 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ginges_revengeBrisbane, Australia5,860 contributionsBefore going to any country or place, we do a lot of research into what to see and how to get around. There is so much information online and lots of great "YouTubers" giving out good information as well.
It was easy to buy tickets and easy to validate the ticket. Ensure that you put them in a safe place so as not to lose them and avoid any potential fines.
Thanks to "The Honest Guide Youtube team" we got a 90 min ticket at the ticket machine outside Prague Havel Airport and used the local bus / metro and made it into Prague central in30 mins flat for about 2 euro each. It was so easy. We then purchased a 3 day travel pass and used this while out and about.
The system is so easy and safe to use. We only saw one ticket inspector in those three days. I recommend this public transport system as its one of the best around.
Just ensure that you do plenty of research before you go so as know the do's and don'ts before arriving into the city.
There was a good mix of old and new trams. Getting on an old one is cool as they are a tourist icon as well.
The system covers a lot of the city and gets you to most places that you want to get to as a tourist exploring the city.Written 22 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We paid $58 for 24 hour ticket for two kids two adults and a senior. It’s not the cheapest but you get a nice ride around the city and we went up to the castle. You can hop on and off for 24 hours. Didn’t see any sketchy people on board young ticket lady on board was super friendly and helpful. Driver and other ticket lady a little gruff.Written 24 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
