Poltergeist was… different. I am an avid horror reader and movie lover but this one scared even me. I laughed, screamed and will be coming back for the rest of the games!!! The puzzles were engaging and suitable for all ages, keeping both the kids and adults thoroughly entertained. The atmosphere was immersive, and the attention to detail really brought the story to life.
A special shout-out to Adéla, who took exceptional care of us. She was incredibly kind and patient, giving us more time than expected to complete the game, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Many escape rooms nowadays seem to sideline the storyline, but this one truly kept us engaged from start to finish. The narrative guided us every step of the way, which added a whole new layer of immersion.
Mission 53 is quite expansive: we kept uncovering new rooms, and each one had its own unique setting and style. To avoid spoilers, let’s just say it was incredibly cool and had us picking our jaws up off the floor more than once. The puzzles themselves lean heavily on deciphering numerical codes, but it never felt repetitive or dull—there were plenty of other clever challenges to keep our brains busy.
We also have to give a special shout-out to our game master, Sára. She absolutely nailed her role at the beginning, and whenever we were stuck, she gave us just the right hint to keep us moving forward without revealing the full solution. Afterward, she took the time to chat with us about what we liked, reassuring us that our near-miss completion time was still a solid achievement!
All in all, our team can’t recommend Mission 53 enough. If you’re in Prague and looking to test your wits while exploring creative, original environments, this is one of the best choices around.
