Our guide Jacob was first class, adding humour and personal touches to the experience. Great value and the 90 minutes flew by. - AlfieDublin, Ireland2 contributionsExcellent museum with a vast collection of planes from early pre war to late cold war along with plenty of helicopters. Really has everything you want to see. Staff were friendly and helpful even though there was a language barrier. Bit of an effort to get there as you have to take the metro and then a bus to get there if you're coming from inner city Prague. But well worth the visit if you have the time. It was constructed in 1475 of Gothic structure. 186 stairs in the spiral staircase to the top provides an awesome view over the city. It is a fantastic photo op. The Airplanes on display represent the history of Czech aviation during the first half of the 20th century with some representative aircraft from the Soviet era (Migs etc) through to today (L-39 aircraft).
In general, It's a small museum, and it seems that most of the focus has been on getting the museum up and going; therefore, I found the story line of the museum to be not fully developed.
