    Great fun!!

The figures are so brilliantly done, but it's the fact you can touch, climb and board that makes this place fantastic fun.

It's 2 floors of life size figures - persons (real & fictional), motorbikes and cars. Fortunately there weren't too many people there when we went and we were able to fully interact and take photos. We were like two big kids, great for all age groups.

Since I have a bit of experience in visiting Prague, I recommend you try the following combination - on the first day Vysehrad, on the second - Prague Castle and on the third - Troja Castle and Botanical Garden / Zoo. Troja Castle is worth visiting, although it is not in the central area. Here you will have time to visit a wonderful baroque building and some beautiful gardens. In winter it is closed.

We visited the Moscow Gothic exhibition as well as the free exhibition.
The Moscow Gothic was very well structured and interesting. The artists background and motives were well described and connected with the art pieces. Definitely worth a visit and the small fee.
The free exhibition had great pieces from different collections in a good setting. Here the structure was less apparent than in the artist exhibition but still very interesting.
The staff was friendly and the museum was easy to reach with the tram.
Sadly some parts were exclusively in Czech, but that didn't undermine the experience greatly.

Some very strong and thought provoking Imagery. Dissipated that staff were unable to tell us much about the art work . Was a bit of a longer walk from the old town then we expected but was beautiful spring day so we enjoyed stretching our legs.

In contrast to crowded Prague castle, the Sternberg Palace is an oasis of calm, as it doesn't feature on the tour guide circuit. In fact, you may have difficulty in finding it as it doesn't even feature on some tourist maps - yet it's just across the road from the Archbishop's Palace, with the entrance down an unlikely looking lane. Most of the art is fairly forgettable, but there are some gems - by Rembrandt, Durer and Dou. There's also a quirky little cafe that does light lunches. Altogether, it's well worth the effort to find the Palace.

This beautiful building is located in the Old Town Square (Staromestske Namesti). It was built in the mid-eighteen century and the formerly a palace now the National Gallery with various art exhibitions on display. The front facade is stunning and certainly stands out in this old square. Excellent photo opportunity.

One of Prague's very beautiful art museums, both in terms of the building and of the collection, presenting mainly Renaissance, Baroque & 18th century paintings. Don't miss the particularly beautiful Snyder, hidden behind à partition to the left of the entrance.

If you want to see the Brown Nosers this is the place to go! The ladders were a bit rickety for me but well worth the trip up! The rest is great if you like off the wall Czech art! It’s free but a donation is welcome. There was one room that was pitch dark with what I think were steps but we didn’t risk that!

This was so beautiful- I can’t even imagine being able to live and work and create such sculptures in a home like this! It’s so special. He designed and made every door and piece of furniture and door handle and....everything! It’s so stunning!!! But very Very weird you can’t take photos!!! You can take photos in every museum on the planet. I thought maybe it was because they would then sell a book or postcard photos....nope. Limited not great postcards and no book in English and a pamphlet with black and white not great photos. If people could take photos they’d post about the place! That’s really weird! But just go and see it!

The museum is trying to persuade you of its deep connection with the Franz Kafka world and essentially its high artistic value. Basic premise is if you don’t like it you don’t get it.
One finds more absurdity in every museum of contemporary art that is cheaper, richer and not so literal and straightforward how you should perceive the exhibition.

Nice university hall for graduation ceremonies.
It could be improved by adding more presentation of the university history and accomplishment.

This old thirteenth century stone building is located in the Old Town Square, very close to the Church Of Our Lady Before Tyn. It is an imposing three storey building which as it’s name suggests has a bell built into one of the corner. It has been refurbished in the past few years and now houses an art gallery. Worth a fleeting glance whilst wandering around the square unless you are into art.

An interesting tower on the edge of the river. It is now used as a restaurant. I would not go out of your way to see it but it is nice enough.

Not always are modern museums a lot of fun. But this one has some attractive masterpieces worth to go see.
