Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Kris M2 contributionsWe had a wonderful time at Strahov Monastery Brewery. The historic setting is beautiful, the beer is excellent, and it's perfect for a family outing. Highly recommended!Written 7 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Pub Monster NeilLiverpool, UK77,182 contributionsMy twin brother and I decided to jump tram 22 from the Mala Strana ( Lesser Town ) district to the historic Brevnovsky Klaster ,a beautiful monastery founded in 993 ,within the monastery grounds are two great brewpubs Klasterni Senk and this superb brewpub.
Brevnovsky Klasterni Pivovar Svateho Vojtecha looks superb, interior is wonderful, a great looking serving bar dominates the main room, rustic decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and beautiful monastery grounds.
We sat outside were we ordered a dark beer for me and a light beer for my brother, these were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and took in the great brewpub and location we were in.
My beer was really good, dark, malty ,bursting with taste, very easy to drink, consistent from the first sip till the last sup, my brother also gave me a thumbs up for his beer .
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on to Klasterni Senk, the other brewpub in the monastery grounds and as on every other visit to Brevnovsky Klasterni Pivovar Svateho Vojtecha we had a great time.
Brevnovsky Klasterni Pivovar Svateho Vojtecha is easy to locate in the Brevnovsky Klaster.

All other things - food is great, beer is AMAZING, my advice is 14 smoked. I don't drink beer and it was my bf who took me there but I was surprised and now I go there once in week or two when I'm crawling for a beer :3Written 7 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The tour took 25 minutes which as we was guided by ourselves after the 2nd room upstairs there is no clear direction where to go but incase anyone ready goes then you should go up the stairs and behind the big vat to the right down into the bottling room.
The best part of the tour is the beer at the end. We had the tasting small beers which was good.Written 4 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is light and airy ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, wonderful decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a really good pub to unwind in.
We ordered their own brewed beers ,a lager style beer served freezing cold and with the distinctive foamy head so characteristic of the way Czech beer is poured, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub.
My beer was really good, iced cold and sparkling and bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world.
We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Pivovar Uhříněves we were totally impressed.
Pivovar Uhříněves is easy to locate along K Sokolovna.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, open from midday.
