- Steve_of_N21London, UK3,611 contributionsWith its main entrance on Namesti Republiky this shopping centre stretches back along Na Polici, but you wouldn’t know it was there as it is hidden in between all the shops along here and Truhlarska on the other side. Five floors that go from -2 to +2 and is a good mixture of clothes, shoes, household ware, bookshops and gift shops. No designer labels, no tourist tat, just proper shops that the locals want.
The top floor is a food hall with lots of different options and surprisingly lots of seating, which is usually the weakness of shopping centre food halls. - Nota37cyprus198 contributionsAmazing. Have been to almost all the Westfields in the world. This is the best by far. Clean, spacious, relaxing. So many shops for all the tastes and budgets. It has lockers at the basement where you can leave your jackets or bags. Politeness everywhere. The same multitude of clothing or footwear stores, watches, jewelry, mobile phones and so on. There is a Tesco supermarket opened until late in the night,until 00:00). Initially recommended by the hotel we were staying and what a great meal, choice a plenty, good value and perfect staff.
We are returning to Prague next month and this will our dinner venue of choice. There are several restaurant to find at the foodcourt on the upper floor of Atrium mall.
Fortunately a Vietnamese restaurant is also available. When I read their menu, it looks so tempting.
I decided to order the mango salad and a portion of vegetables Spring roll.
When I tasted the Mango salad I don't need to add more spices, it's just perfect!
With the spring roll I did added some hot chilli sauce with it. All tasted so good!
The mango salad is mixed with carrot, boiled shrimps, peanuts and cucumber.
With all of those mix vegetable and mango they added also a very refreshing and tasteful vinegar sauce with palm sugar and chili sauce!
Dear lord, those combination of flavours makes my appetite even more bigger!
Truly my Best lunch ever in Prague.
The counter/cashier woman is really friendly and hulpful.
She took the time to explain me of the different meals on their menu.
Unfortunately, the sittings area behind the restaurant to be more exactly on the right back part is used as a storage place of the kitchen.

I like the restaurants as they are really authentic and the meals are made as for locals so you get great quality for very good price. Another reason why am I visiting the place are exotics fruits that can be bought in small shops there.
A disadvantage is that the place is further from city center and it takes about 1 hour to get there using public transportation. I also checked taxi, it's not much better. Another thing are toilets - I wasn't sure where to find some at the areal. I guess that visitors need to go to some restaurant to use the toilets there. As the last thing, most of the signs is in Vietnamese. - Dirk Goosen2 contributionsI went to Victorinox in Prague to replace my swiss army knife's scissor spring. The staff was brilliant in theire way of helping me replace it and gave me a Spare as well , i am from South Africa and Spares are difficult to come by.
At the counter I took out my wallet to pay and then the person helping me say NO, it is for free because there is a lifetime guarantee on the knives.
What a wonderful experience in a strange country, where language is a bit of a problem.
