That was about our tour and the tour guide. Here is what I have to say about Saints Bar directly:
Saints Bar in Prague exceeded all expectations during our visit, and we can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were met with a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The bar was alive with the energy of curious and welcoming faces, and the bartender's friendly greeting made us feel right at home. It was here that we met our fantastic tour guide, Oliver, who quickly discerned that we were the tourists he'd be showing around the city.
Paul and Štěpán, the co-owners, were absolutely amazing hosts. We spent the most time with Paul, who made us feel like part of the family throughout our several visits. Both he and Štěpán put in the effort to engage with us and reciprocated our excitement and interest. Their hospitality was nothing short of exceptional, especially during our New Year's Eve celebration. The vibe was social and lively, but never overwhelming.
As for the drinks – the Blackberry (or Raspberry) Bramble was a hit with my husband, while I stumbled upon the delightful Porn Star martini, which became my go-to "tip it back and let go" cocktail! Every drink we tried was a craft masterpiece, and the variety on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone.
The music played a key role in the bar's atmosphere, perfectly fitting for a gay bar. It was diverse in genres and decades but never too loud – just the right backdrop to enjoy conversations and make new connections. The clientele was a mix of welcoming regulars and new faces, and we felt completely at ease in their company. Saints Bar truly embodies a sense of community and camaraderie, with no negativity in sight.
While there wasn’t a themed event during our visit, celebrating New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at Saints Bar was a highlight of our trip. The friendly, like-minded crowd made it the perfect place to ring in the new year. Plus, the location was fantastic – easy to find and centrally located, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring Prague.
If you're in Prague and looking for a great bar with top-notch service, delicious drinks, and an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere, Saints Bar is a must-visit. There is a bar upstairs opening early afternoon. The staff were all super friendly. The club was clean as well as the bathrooms. The drink prices were quite reasonable compared to my hometown.
The DJ was great and dancing was quite fun.
A little strange the PIN number to my card “did not work” so cash only. Please note they only accept cash so make sure you bring your Czech crowns. - RichyManchester, UK93 contributionsWe went here July giving it a go, firstly you have to pay 50Ck each entry cash if they advertised this it would have made the first part a lot easier. Once in, the atmosphere is great, but for some strange reason you get charged more for card than cash for drinks by the bar men, and the prices rise and fall with each person that serves you. Until you bring it up. Another thing is you can clearly ask for 1 drink with one finger with a English speaking bar man and they pour 2 and expect payment for 2. Unsure if the management is aware that the bar men seem to be taking the holiday customers for a ride but it sure doesn’t pass the people who are aware of what they are doing, they must be making a great pocket of money ontop of there wage. The bouncer is also rude and when paying entry with him he will purposely give you change of 100ck in the lowest of low denominations 1/2/5/10ck filling

It's a bar for the locals but we were made to feel at home, bartender was friendly and this place is cheap. - Miller CLondon, UK46 contributionsThe place is nice, including the seating area. Good drinks. However, the music is terrible and very dated. Definitely, the Dj is not doing a great job.The place wasn't really busy either on Friday night and Saturday and my guess is because of the music.
It's such a shame because the place got loads of potential for a good time out. Mixed in the sense of old AND very young, hopefull and commercial teens, romantic elder gentlemen and very bizniz like young twinks or underaged male professionals.
