Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very nice walk and a great memorial to those who served to give us a better life.

ANZAC's - We will remember them.

Over looking the city and ocean.

    Well worth the walk.

A series of beautiful gardens laid out around some nice small lakes. Each garden is not extensive but a small taste of different styles.
Well maintained and an easy stroll - picturesque and a wonderful way to while away a few hours.

Very pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is. We came with our 2 and 4 year olds and we had a great time. To think this is provided totally free to educate children on Australia’s diverse and beautiful animals is a fantastic idea from the local council. Totally deserves a high recommendation!

Short and challenging with amazing views. The walk up the Summit was truly a physical challenge but worth it. The incline is fairly steep and there are a number of stairs to climb as a result but overall worth the effort.

Overall we had a blast at this exhibit.

Highly recommend doing a personal encounter with the sting rays. You get to put on a provided wet suit and sit with the sting rays under supervision. All the while one of their staff walk you through some facts and talks about the sea animals. A very exciting and unique experience.

Even with just the entry fee and the no wetsuit, you still get to get your feet wet and touch the sting rays yourself (so long as they approach you themselves.

There is also a seperate shark area that offers a similar experience.

The staff are all very friendly, and approachable. It’s clear that they take care of their animals well.

My advice is to come during the non-peak periods and not during school holidays to avoid the crowds.

We were unaware that there was a zoo before our holiday to the Hunter Valley...but we were so glad we discovered it. We were impressed that they house lions, alligators, giraffes and camels in a fairly small zoo. We also liked the interaction you can have with the animals like the petting zoo and aviary. Would also recommend the cafe for lunch too..

A lovely light house. The museum was very interesting and only needed a gold coin donation. The car park is small, we were lucky to get a park. The tearoom was busy but the scones and drink didn’t take too long. Really nice scones. The gift shop had some interesting things to buy.

I loved seeing all these old fighters up close and personal and it's right next to Williamtown AFB so you can watch fighter jets take off and land which is a real experience if you haven't see this before. We managed to see 2 x F35s take off in the 90 minutes we were there.

Had a great day out with good friends. Lots to see and loved getting to interact with the animals (e.g. milking a cow, feeding goats). Additionally, the private animal encounters are more personal but also great fun.

All staff we interacted with were extremely friendly, welcoming and informative.

    Would go again.
