It is hard to describe just what an incredible experience this is. For anyone visiting the Mara, you HAVE to do this experience. It is one of the most amazing activities we have ever done. You are met the evening before by a representative who guides you through the day and goes through all paperwork. The next morning he will collect you from your camp/resort and take you to the balloon site. Depending on how far away you are this can be early. So be prepared! Our was a 4:30am departure from Neptune Mara Rianta. On arrival at the site you are welcomed with coffee, tea and snacks while you wait for the safety brief from your Balloon Captain. Our captain was Serge, who we can’t thank enough for such an amazing, safe and pleasurable experience. His knowledge and expertise really made the difference in our journey. The flight lasts for approximately 1 hour. It is beautiful watching the sun rise and seeing the vast plains of the Mara. You follow the river up to the campsite, changing altitudes as we closed in on different herds of animals, from giraffes, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and buffalo on our flight. The landing was smooth (Almost didn’t realise we had touched down) You are immediately met by 4x4s and taken to the breakfast area just 5 minutes away. Welcomed with Prosecco you are guided to your table. The breakfast is incredible. There is a full English style selection of sausages, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms etc. A dedicated egg station providing omelettes etc on request. Water and juice constantly topped up. The balloon captain talks about the flight and some history of balloon flights before providing everyone with a certificate. Small gift shop at the end with clothing items, magnets and pins. Toilets provided at breakfast area. Overall an incredible experience, which we would 100% book again

What a fantastic adventure. We booked through Jemmy Safaris the Balloon drive. It was for my birthday and what can I say. It was a great experience. We loved everything from the start to the end. Our captain Mervin was so nice, he explained everything about the balloon and everything we saw during the drive.
Definitely it wasn’t the last time to do it.
Should be once in a lifetime. But too good to do it only once.

Amazing experience! We brought 2 children (8 and 11) and they loved it. The pilot, Ali, was very experienced and made us feel safe throughout the whole flight. This is a must do and worth every dollar when visiting Masai Mara

What an incredible experience, one of the highlights of our trip.

We were wary of doing this due to the pricing, but it is definitely worth it.

We had Captain Carlos as our pilot, he is a legend! A great bloke and seemingly an amazing pilot, winds weren't really in our favour, but he steered us around and make the most of it.

The brekkie afterwards was very good and very surreal eating in the middle of the bush!

One can only dream of fulfilling a fantasy vacation - for it to become a reality is a once in a lifetime experience that I had the privilege of sharing with my son. We took the 6-day Amboseli/Lake Naivasha/Masi Mara safari.

Our safari guide, David, was more than qualified to share the history of each park, identify animals we weren't familiar with and patiently answered all our questions - no matter how silly they sounded. He was also very attentive to my needs i.e. bathroom stops and flexible with our daily travel times ( I have mobility issues). His driving between parks was something admirable - the highway was a traffic nightmare, trucks loaded with goods from the port of Mombasa were everywhere. We were not afraid because he was 'calm, cool and collected', like a pro. David has a pleasing personality and one can tell he loves his job.

Words like, awesome, unbelievable, fantastic and 'OMG' cannot begin to describe how we felt every moment of our trip. The land, people and diverse species of animals in Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara to me is truly paradise on earth. Thank you, Our Natural World Kenya Safaris, for making dreams become realities.

Had a fantastic daybreak balloon ride over the Masai Mara National Reserve with Adventures Aloft. This is truly a must-do experience if you are having a safari in the Mara. The sunrise was beautiful. All was very well-organized, from the meet-up at the lodge, to the balloon assignments, the ride itself, and the wonderful champagne breakfast buffet in the bush at the conclusion of the ride.

The scenery was staggering - with photo opportunities galore. An avid photographer, I took two camera bodies, with a 24-70 mm zoom on one, and a 70-200 mm zoom on the other. These were ideal, although a 100-400 mm would have worked well too. Quarters in the balloons are pretty cramped so do not plan on being able to change lenses whilst aloft.

    Highly recommended experience!

Returned home last week after having my dream vacation become reality thanks to Namayiana Safaris. Started planning last year, M'pairo kept in contact with me on a regular basis as my plans unfolded.
My Sister- in- law traveled with me on our 12-day safari. This trip exceeded my expectations!!! By our second day in Kenya, we were no longer tourists, we were part of a family. Although M'pairo was called out of town, he kept in contact with us throughout our journey and went the extra mile for us a couple of times and for that we are grateful. His brother Solomon was our guide and he made sure that my sister-in law and I were well taken care of. The three of us shed tears when we parted ways, he had become like a brother.
Highly recommend this safari if you want to experience Kenya as it is supposed to be experienced. I hope to join them again soon. Thank you Namayiana Safaris!

We spent three weeks with Deniz/Malnodez Safari who took us to marvellous
safaris in Amboseli, Maasai Mara and Nakuru park. The best guide ever! In between we had a great time, lots of laughter and learnt that there is no reason to get upset - no matter what. Hakuna Matata! You're the best!

It was our family’s first time on a hot air balloon. Initially we were very apprehensive but captain David made us comfortable. The view was amazing and totally worth it! Being able to see the sunrise was an added bonus. We were about 20000 ft high up in the sky and could see so many different species of animals. The bush breakfast in the middle of the jungle was great, there were live counters too.
Highly recommend doing this atleast once in your life.

The highlight of our Amboseli tour without doubt was the balloon safari Starting early morning before sunrise. Our pilot Philippe and his father Jerome very experienced and full of humour calmed down our nerves in the briefings. The lift of was so gentle. The view from above gave stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro with its white snow cap and that was a pectacular. The Masai manyatas were clearly visible. We were able to exchange morning greetings with the masai families from above. We saw children walking to school across the park. We saw animals like the elephants, giraffes, zebras not forgetting the cows and goats. It’s incredible that all coexist together. This is life’s greatest wonder. After almost 2 hours we landed at the edge of the park and were treated to a sumptuous champagne breakfast at the company’s camp. A true once in a lifetime event.

What a fantastic experience! Watching the sunrise strike the snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro was an amazing thing to do. Our balloon pilot Daniel was great at spotting animals, and explaining the history of the area and the Masai people.

The process was very smooth, from pick up, to flight, to return. After the balloon ride we were treated to the traditional glass of champagne, and a great breakfast.

I highly recommend this business, and thank the team for providing such a great time for us.

When my original Mount Kenya tour fell through, Arthur managed to arrange an superb alternative for me on very short notice. Within a day we were on our way to the Maasai Mara, where Arthur demonstrated his game driving skills, and I got to view an incredible variety of wildlife. I found Arthur personable, knowledgeable, and reliable, and I recommend him wholeheartedly for any plans you may have in Kenya and surrounding countries

I had an excellent experience with my safari tour of Amboseli National Park through Tribal Adventures. Emily was super responsive and handled all communications professionally and was very accommodating of our timelines, budgets and drop off interests. The safari itself was so beautiful and our guide knew the park well so was able to find all the sneaky cats that love to hide, which is quite a rare sight! Overall, very pleased with our experience and would recommend using Tribal Adventures to book your next safari trip in Kenya, they will not disappoint!

We used Janwans tours for our day trip to Lake Nakuru national park, from Nakuru and would happily recommend this company. We were guided by Peter, whose knowledge of the park and the animals made our outing most enjoyable. We got to see plenty of game including Rhino’s and Lions. The car comfortably accommodated 6 of us and Peters unhurried approach meant a very relaxed and informative day out. We plan to use this company again.

The most incredible experience. Worth every penny. I would do this all over again if I have the chance. Truly memorable and absolutely stunning views. You can see all the animals and it’s simply beautiful. Highly recommend.
