Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked in for the 90min tour which was enjoyable only saw a fraction of the site as it is so large. Knowledgeable guide who is an up & coming athlete. Disappointing to see some sports like volleyball that don’t get virtually any Govt funding where as other sports such as basketball get a lot of money & athletes are fully subsidised. Worth the small fee.

With just a short 15 minute drive out of the CBD from the moment we entered the salon we were pleasantly surprised and treated like queens. We spent 4 hours of bliss with our chosen package. My only complaints are maybe the owner could look at a choice of disposable undies not just the massive granny pants we were offered 😅 and that the light lunch be given more time to enjoy as this time was included in our 30 minutes for the use of the spa and sauna so we didn’t really get to savour their benefits. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Canberra

I have to admit I was both hesitant and excited about the Astral Float. Having had issues with my ears in water, I had reservations around the possible discomfort I would experience if I got the water in my ears. My concerns were addressed with the earplugs provided, being of excellent quality, and the head and neck support options, which I chose to use. You don't have to use these because your head actually floats above face level, however, I found it more comfortable to use them.

At first, in the water, it feels really strange and my racing mind tried desperately to resist being calm. I had to really focus on my breathing, slowing my mind and being calm. The darkness and silence can be a little unnerving, so having the music play longer was helpful. I also left the door of the unit ajar, so I didn't feel closed in. It took me about 15 mins to fully relax and trust the water to 'hold' me. Being a full figured woman floating wasn't the issue but allowing myself to simply 'be' in the water without feeling the need to move was strange to me, almost as though I would float away. About 20 mins in I began to completely relax and allow myself to simply float - and it was AMAZING! I can only describe it as incredibly freeing.

After the session, I was so calm and my body was so relaxed that everything felt surreal. That night, I slept so deeply and peacefully that it was as though I had slept for days! The following morning the effects were even more wonderful, with waking up, where I awoke in a calm state and felt ready to embrace the day. Throughout the day, I had more energy and freedom of movement than I've had in years. I was totally without any pain in my body, for the entire day (which is not usual for me). All day I felt incredibly good, and the usual things did not fluster me in the usual way because my level of patience with everything and everyone had exponentially increased.

Whilst these benefits all gradually faded over the next few days, I feel positively altered by the experience and would highly recommend it, if you are seeking a safe and soothing way to reset and synchronise your body and mind. I know I will certainly be doing it again... and again!
