Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- sophia mPerth, Australia110 contributionsLovely, clean apartments with gorgeous views. Central to lots of eateries. Well stocked kitchen to cook some simple meals if you don’t feel like walking to the restaurants close by. Would stay here again!Written 12 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- les bPerth, Australia576 contributionsWe have been here many many times and have not reviewed it before BUT this small fairground should be saved as its somewhere for the little kids, teens and oldies with the put put course. DEVELOPERS want to build a brewery on it and that should NOT be allowed as there are hardly any fairgrounds aroundWritten 22 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - les bPerth, Australia576 contributionsWhat a lovely place to walk around, with shade and play areas for children. Pubs and Restaurants close by and Cafes and Toilets. Good for wheelchairs. Elizabeth Quay in Perth has hardly and shadeWritten 22 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KESMandurah, Australia16 contributionsThis is a lovely spot fro a swim, a run or for a BBQ with family on the hill overlooking the beach. We love coming down to the sands at sunset it is just glorious, food for the soul. Grab a picnic hamper and chill out and for those who need some lubrication the Silver Sands pub is within walking distance. Only for those inclined the rest of us drink in the views.Written 12 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Audrey UPerth, Australia13 contributionsCnr Adonis and Ormsby terrace is our favourite part of the beach (near a friends place) and not too far from public facilities and BBQ area. BYO shade!Written 4 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kristina S1 contributionWe saw The Cheap and Dodgy productions show Bustin' Out on 10 December. Excellent show, full of laughs, very talented performers. Now that David Templeman has retired from his day job maybe he could produce the shows twice yearly.Written 10 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew YSingapore, Singapore5,138 contributionsWe were doing a race to find the Giants. One was epicly located on the hillside looking out to the sea. Just something to do while you are there. They are quite artistically done.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joe_CokaSingapore, Singapore107 contributionsGood place for an hour walk about and wildlife exploring. Plenty of birds and some kangaroos.
To enter into the Wetlands, enter via gate near the observatory tower.

- Dan LBunbury, Australia8,834 contributionsHeading to Perth and interrupted the drive to visit the Forum. Still a vibrant place but did note some closures and other outlets being prepared for new tenants. Enjoyed a visit to the Coffee Club then my wife went on her way to her favourite shops, I headed to my favourite menswear, but, alas no suitable sized offerings.Written 13 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This has been laid out so well, the wording on the pillars makes it interesting to read.Written 5 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Matt M2 contributionsIt's a good place to visit down by Preston Beach, there are a few nice walks and things, the beach area is pretty good and they let you stay a couple of nights. There are down sides, trigger happy cops harassing you for no reason, campsite hosts endangering life, bushfires, redbacks, and the kind of people cheap places attract, the cheap and nasty crowd who couldn't give the tiniest damn about what national parks are all about (piles of trash, speeding where wildlife is, yelling and annoying people), so do your best to avoid all of that and you could spend a pretty good afternoon here.Written 20 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
