Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Westfield Knox is a convenient and comfortable shopping centre. It has a choice of shopping malls, a variety of restaurants and Village Cinemas. A good destination to shop, dine and relax.

a great walk from Stud Rd to Ferntree Gully Railway station along a paved shared path.

The path well maintained and is bordered by trees and shrubs and there is plenty of birdlife

It is a bike/walker shared path and starts nedar the Ferntree Gully Statikon and ends at Ferntree Gully Railway station.

Near the FTG destination is the Tim Neville Arboretum, a must see and stop

Visited here recently to see a NBL game. The stadium and centre was better than we expected and certainly of higher standard than we have in our home state. Pre-game activities were great and so inclusive and really added to the atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend seeing game here. Although do know (and understand this is beyond the centres control) that the location is isolated, there is public transport from Melbourne (where we stayed) but means taking a train to Glen Waverly then a bus to the basketball centre which drops off along the freeway but if it happens to be a late game, there is no bus back to the train station after 10pm although the driver assured us there would be. So, you can Uber as many people do back and then back to Melbourne on the train. I can't complain though cause the transport system here is much better than where we come from.
Anyway, thanks for a great night of basketball

This park is a favourite for locals.
While its not as well known, nor has it as many amenities as Jells Park, it gives you a dog friendly area, shelters, BBQ, toilets, and ability to park close by.

The Wantirna area is blest with multiple parks and bushland tracks to choose from, and Koomba Park is one of them. I've walked and cycled along the Eastlink trail many times & this park is on par with any other in Melbourne.

Quite a strange pocket of bush land in the middle of suburbia. Lots of bird life and little trails. Great for small kids to walk around. Various entry points and a pair to the south. Walk through there regularly and it is very nice.

Great collection of Australian (& international) jazz history. Only open 2 days a week but it's well worth the visit. Staffed by passionate volunteers that care about safeguarding history of Australian jazz. Group & school tours can also be arranged.

I walk in Shepherds Bush on a regular basis with my dog.

This is relivly flat and allows for enjoyabe walk that is about 2-3 Km as a round trip or connects to a number of other tracks to allow for longer walks.

It is adjacent to both Napier Park and Nortens Park where free parking is available.

It is also possible to catch the 737 Bus as there are stops near-by to the entrance.

There is also a small parking area at either end of the trail.

This activity offers a good verity of Bird Life including Lorikeets, Cockatoos, Roselas, Wrens, Ducks, Ibis and Herons.

It is also approriate for families with small chidren as the walking is easy, it is accessable and is relitivly short.

Lollipop's Playland and Café was the BEST experience. It's a new venue that opened in 2020 and we hosted our son's 10th birthday party here. We had 10 children and 15 adults and did the Build-A-Bear Workshop. This turned out to be a great decision to host the party here and our choice of parties as all of the food, drinks, bears, and goodie bags ended up being the best value for money. Every kid got to go home and an amazingly stuffed bear they get to name and create with the staff. The birthday child gets a special bear and goodie bag too!

I would highly recommend this place for any type of party for any kid, gender or age! Dewe and her family own this place and their staff work to the highest standards. As it was COVID time they did extra bits to ensure everyone was safe and everything was hygienic. We WILL be coming back time and again I'm sure.

I love exploring these little parklands and bush places around Wantirna. My friend and I have a post graduate in Envio Science sio we are always looking at things a little differnetly. This remnant bushland has an abundance of flowers, trees, bushes, wildlife, birds and more.
This place is a nice respite from the regular day-to-day places you visit.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking.

Nice little reserve which runs along the Dandenong Creek Trail. There is a fenced re-vegetation zone on the northern side. Plus there are three good sized ovals, one of which is fenced. If you head towards the south-west corner you'll see the Margaret Valastro Pavilion with some bins. To the east is another pavilion which also has bins beside some soccer fields (home of the Ringwood City Soccer Club) and St Andrews Cricket Club. There isn't a water tap. Dogs can be off a leash

For many years, Victoria has been the leading State in Australian basketball. It has two teams in the National Basketball League (NBL) -- Melbourne United and the South-East Melbourne Phoenix, though some would say the Perth Wildcats have a better record in recent years. The NBL is the top men's professional competition in Oceania, with eight Australian teams and one from New Zealand. The centre has six courts, including a 3,200 seat show court. The centre can handle anything from a championship game to a casual shoot around between friends. It is also available for events such as netball and trade shows.

It was a wet day when we visited this Bushland which has been suggested that the Healesville Freeway will go through but it is currently on the shelf. thankfully.
I love the Bateman Street Bushland area for its diversity, peace an the amazing range of words, wildflowers and wilidlife.
On the day I visited there were quite a few native lillies blooming and I even saw a roo. Butterflies were plentiful.
Wheelchair accessable. Kid friendly. Good parking.

This area has tracks for walking and biking and runs along the Dandenong Creek and it is a pleasant place to both walk and cycle. There is adequate parking and it is worth a look.

Took the kids one Sunday afternoon so they could burn off some energy and get out the house. They had a ball. Seemed to spend a bit of time waiting for staff to come and hook them on everytime they wanted to climb so wonder if maybe they need a few more staff as these poor staff members were running back and forward. Would defnetly go again.
