Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Harrison F. CarterAuckland, New Zealand12,854 contributionsRented a car from Melbourne to give the freedom to explore on own terms... gave the time to spend as wished to. Loved seeing the sights along it. Although busy, it was always easy to find peace and space to have your own moments.Written 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JudeTorquay, Australia600 contributionsThis beach is most lovely to stroll along, clean, long, good surf and incredibly dog friendly! But if you are a little nervous of nudity on the beach this is not the place for you. It is one of the nudist beaches in the region so consider that before going there. But highly recommended, not crowded and very peaceful. Remote from the township of Torquay so no shops or facilities apart from a basic toilet block at the car parking area. Access to the beach over soft sandy paths meandering through the sand dunes.Written 8 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kev MullinsWarrnambool, Australia13 contributionsOnly coming here to say the young staff were awesome. We mainly just popped in for a drink and they were a laugh.
It all started with us questioning if there was any alcohol in the ‘on-tap’ cocktails. Avoid them unless you’re designated driver and in that case have as many as you want. Otherwise we had a lovely time. And my wife had the beef salad and said it was awesome so some the dishes are clearly good.Written 21 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EmmaBonn, Germany1 contributionIt was absolutely amazing!
I booked the one day surfing tour and got way more than I expected.
At first I was a bit afraid of the waves and riptides but as soon as I got into the water and got wet I realized that as long as Olli is with me, there is nothing to be afraid of.
Ollis enthusiasm for riding even bigger and harder waves soon infected me too. The way he helped me getting into every position made me feel so good.
He taught me how to ride them right and I tried my best to follow his instructions and do as Olli wanted me to do.
He really taught me a lesson (my bruised knees and sore muscles the day after speak for themselves!) and I could never thank him enough for that day.
It was/he was truly amazing and I‘m really looking forward to when we meet again.Written 15 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
