Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The waves were breaking at Winkipop not Bells but still worth a visit. No flags or surf patrol so we headed back to Jan Juc for a swim

This beach is most lovely to stroll along, clean, long, good surf and incredibly dog friendly! But if you are a little nervous of nudity on the beach this is not the place for you. It is one of the nudist beaches in the region so consider that before going there. But highly recommended, not crowded and very peaceful. Remote from the township of Torquay so no shops or facilities apart from a basic toilet block at the car parking area. Access to the beach over soft sandy paths meandering through the sand dunes.

This was our first stop as part of our Great Ocean Rd tour from Melbourne. We had about 20 minutes to explore the beach on a rainy morning, but it looked nice. Worth the stop

Fisho’s is the local go-to for a long walk on firm sand, without or with a dog. Also good for young families as sheltered bay offers gentle water for safe and shallow play.

Great Surfcoast place with small car park found hidden on west side of SLSC.
Often take my tween boys when swell 1-2 m for a fairly safe near-to-shore surf.
Swallow estuary mouth beside break is Spring Creek.
Supervise kids on pretty grass hill adjacent to sandy beach.
    A lovely spot.

My wife and I visited this place during our recent holiday in Torquay for two nights. We stayed at The Sands Golf Resort, which is within a short walking distance from this beach.

The walk from The Esplanade to this beach across the boardwalk is very scenic and pleasant. The sandy beach was very secluded during the time of our visit. There were a few locals walking their dogs.

This beach is around 3.5 km from Torquay town centre, which is probably why very few tourists would come here and is probably the reason why there has not been any reviews on Tripadvisor yet.

This beach is very nice. It is one of the best that I have visited and I have been to a few hundred beaches in several countries over the years.
