A wonderful day. The three limestone caves, especially Razorback, were among the high points of my two-week visit to Australia. In addition, this trip took us for a brief walk in a rainforest and to see koalas in the wild along a road and kangaroos on the green of a golf course.

Had an incredible experience with Go West Tours on the Great Ocean Road full-day tour! Our guide, Chris H., was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating insights. He kept the tour fun, well-paced, and informative, ensuring we got the best views, stories, and photo spots.

From the Twelve Apostles to Loch Ard Gorge, every stop was breathtaking, and Chris’s passion for the region made it even more special. Highly recommend Go West Tours, and if you get Chris as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic journey!

Myself and my parents, who are over here visiting me from the UK went on this tour. Lorraine was our host. She was very knowledgeable and was able to pack a lot in to the day.
Amongst many of the highlights were the amount of koalas we were able to see and photograph in their own habitat. Something that most aussies, including myself don’t get the chance to do. The whole day was fantastic and I’d highly recommend this tour, especially with Lorraine. She went above and beyond.

Kevin picked me up on time, early in fact, from my hotel in Melbourne at 6:30 AM. It was a long day but it went so well. There was time to doze on the trip to the 12 Apostles. We stopped for breakfast at a small cafe after 1.5 hours. We missed the crowds. There were multiple stops on the way back along the coast. Kevin kept us informed about the all important toilet stops and lunch places. Be aware that there are no toilets at the 12 Apostles so go when your guide tells you. We saw koalas and kookaburras. I traveled solo but the other passengers in the van were friendly so it made for a fun day out of Melbourne.

Really lovely tour guide, we saw lots of wildlife (koalas, sting rays, kangaroos). Our guide had a lot of knowledge and made sure we were all comfortable and had a good time.

Amazing two-day tour of must see locations throughout the Great Ocean Road, not to mention the wonderful nuggets of trivia dropped along the way by our wonderful guide, Mark. The accommodation, which was a dorm, was surprisingly clean and comfortable compared to the backpacker hostels in Melbourne! Highly recommend if you’re 18-35 of age :)

Bluey was a great tour guide and superbly friendly, very knowledgeable and efficient in managing the group to help us get enough time at each stop. We managed to hit all the key sites on the great ocean road and the restaurant locations were easy and enjoyable to hang out at. Definitely worthwhile on the trip as a whole but with Bluey it was even more memorable.

Right from the moment you walk through the door they are so welcoming. They know exactly what they're doing and make it as easy and quick as possible to get down to the beach and enjoy the surfing. We went on a public holiday and the beach was packed but somehow Alessandro managed to keep an eye on us all and give individual tuition once we were in the water. The whole family had a great time as absolute beginners and we would definitely go back to the Surfing Academy next time.

The four of us took a private tour with Pats. We arrived on a cruise ship and were picked up at the cruise terminal. Since we had to be back on ship at 10 pm, Pats worked around our schedule and redesigned the tour to our wishes. We visited the 12 Apostles and drove down the beautiful Great Coastal road, making some stops for some beautiful pictures. We really wanted to see kangaroos and koalas in the wild and Pats was able to spot them. We even spotted a Kookaburra at Teddys Lookout. Although we skipped hiking through the forest, she gave us a wonderful drive by tour of Melbourne and a walking tour of the murals in downtown Melbourne. It was a full day but Pats did a wonderful job keeping it lively. She worked around our schedule and got us back in time to board our ship.

I had a great tour with Walter who was our driver and guide. Two days is a perfect amount of time to experience all the sights along the Great Ocean Road. Walter is knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about the spots.

The itinerary was great as we were able to skip crowds and rush at most places - often the spots get crowded because of day trippers.

It can get a bit tiring as the spots involve a lot of walking.

The overnight stay at Apollo Bay YHA was great as well.

Even as a solo traveller, I didn’t feel left out. Everyone with me was great to talk to and interact with.

    Overall, no complaints.

BLUF - Outstanding! There are a number of tour companies that run Ocean Road trips, but this one has to up there with the very best. It is a small group tour, and so you will not be on a crowdedbus with dozens of people that don't really want to be there. The schedule of four travel days and three overnights is just right for the groujd to be covered, and includes (IMHO) just the right balance of scenic stops, activities (e'g wineries) and other sights (e.g. caves etc). The three overnight stops have really top quality accomoodation in apartment style chalets/rooms and cannot be faulted. Our guide was a mature native English speaker who was informative and totally professional. This trip may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

We had the pleasure of doing a Great Ocean Road tour with Mark today, and it was fantastic from start to finish. My parents had done the same tour with Mark a few years ago and spoke so highly of it that we knew we had to try it too—and we’re so glad we did!

Mark was incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of knowledge about every place we visited. His enthusiasm was contagious, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. He was always happy to answer questions or share fascinating stories about the landmarks, wildlife, and history of the area.

The itinerary was perfectly paced, allowing us to take in breathtaking views—from the stunning coastal scenery to the iconic Twelve Apostles. We even had the chance to spot wild koalas and kangaroos, which made the day even more special.

We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day. If you’re considering a Great Ocean Road tour, I highly recommend going with Mark—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Mark, for an unforgettable day!
