Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a pleasant walk along the river we came to this statue. It was near the old bridge and easy to find. It is also next to the tree of knowledge and near the sandstone sculptures.

The river level was slowly dropping after the floods but the park alongside has artworks and it was a pleasant walk along with lots of locals and the occasional tourist.

Beautiful tranquil gardens. Pleasant walks and lovely spots to picnic while watching the birdlife and enjoying views across the Lake.

The visitor centre has two entry points, one being on Marshall St and the other via Bowen Lane. The entry on Marshall street is a lovely art deco facade with the Gunsynd Museum and a wonderfully preserved Council Chamber upon entry. If you fancy a little street art, take a walk down Bowen Lane before entering. This entrance takes you straight to the visitors desk as well as the local library. The staff are wonderfully helpful and you can also purchase a few knick knacks to mark your visit.

An interesting and well maintained trained small folk museum. The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. We were fortunate ate to enjoy a cup of tea and home made damper as part of a local tour. Well worth the visit.

We were welcomed with open arm and found the service touching. We returned again the next weekend with our grandchildren aged 3 and 5 and they were made to feel welcome even though they are very exuberant.

On the perimeter of the river walk. Has an interesting history. Next to bridge across to nsw and horse plaque. Worthwhile visiting as also next to other sights.

A lovely artwork to tick off on your Silo/Water Tank Art Trail. Located next to the Tree Of Knowledge on the banks of the Macintyre River. You can visit the Silo Art Trail website or Facebook page to locate other murals and learn about the Artists who created them.

Was only here for the weekly ParkRun so didn't see much of other sports (the ParkRun gets under way at 07:00), but it is obviously a well-used and well cared for venue, with facilities available for several sports.

Visited on Wednesday 18th March. We were having a look around Goondiwindi and found this park. A great place to stop and relax for awhile.

The country out here is fabulous, but this National Park is just bushland and a gravel road. There are no amenities, walking tracks or parking... nothing at all.

A lovely wide path along the Macintyre River taking in landmarks and points of interest along the way. There is an entrance via Mclean Street behind the Customs House Museum following along past the boat ramp and Macintyre Cod sculpture. The path is well maintained and wheelchair/pram accessible and is a lovely way to take in the river.

Nice country town. Beautiful country golf course. Long and challenging. Drove via Karara road with less trucks.
