Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great experience seeing a number of large and small salties just 30 minutes from Airlie Beach.
    Included food was surprisingly great.

I'm 52 and relatively unfit. My 25 year old daughter and I first walked down to the beach which is a nice walk and really pleasant, then did Mt Roper on the way back. Apparently there is an easy way to walk it and a hard way........she chose the hard way. Constantly upward sloping with no flat breaks ( but it is a Mountain ). Plenty of wildlife. Be careful of the loose gravel on the way down as you do tend to slide a bit.

Sailing off the national park is fantastic. It was so good we had to do a 360 around one buoy because the view was so impressive. Also saw breaching whales and turtles...
