Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Tony M4 contributionsGreat experience seeing a number of large and small salties just 30 minutes from Airlie Beach.
Included food was surprisingly great.Written 22 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My 25 year old daughter and I first walked down to the beach which is a nice walk and really pleasant, then did Mt Roper on the way back. Apparently there is an easy way to walk it and a hard way........she chose the hard way. Constantly upward sloping with no flat breaks ( but it is a Mountain ). Plenty of wildlife. Be careful of the loose gravel on the way down as you do tend to slide a bit.Written 10 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Also saw breaching whales and turtles...Written 10 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
