Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Thankyou Josh and Tamsyn for such an incredible evening under the stars. From the moment you greeted us until we were returned back to our camp, we felt like VIP guests. Your setting, food, entertainment, warmth, humour and attention to detail all contributed to a remarkable evening. What an inspiring young couple you are. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the Kimberley in a very special way.

Our skipper Justin was awesome, a wealth of knowledge, a good laugh, showed us some amazingthings, gave lots of detailed info, spotted so many animals for us to photograph & set up a fantastic afternoon tea in a very specky spot.

Mackenzie is an awesome pilot. So skilled and informative. 10 out of 10 tour. Took way too many photo's. 2 hour small plane flight over incredible country. So blessed. James was pretty good too 👌

Such a spectacular cruise. We did the sunset cruise which ended in a storm making it even more special. Crew were knowledgeable and made it the trip so much fun.

Flight with Elliott of Helispirit was the best helicopter flight we’ve ever had in both Oz and overseas. He’s a great pilot with smooth flying in high wind gusts without missing a beat during his informative commentary. Will recommend Elliott for flying anywhere!

An exciting and at times slightly challenging walk into the Gorge, however the lagoon and waterfall at the end are worth the effort.
And its rewarding to return and enjoy a cool beverage and snack at the adjacent resort

It’s November so it’s very very warm - some would say too hot to walk around and it probably is, but we’re only here once.

We smashed the purple and green walks much quicker than the interp suggested and look lots of photos. Even with nearby bush fire-haze, the views were great.

We had left it too late in the day to do the black 2.5 hour walk so just ‘nipped’ up the bank to see the hand paintings. Impressive works of art but difficult to go back down the route. But not impossible. That’s why they say the route is one way!

My only grumble would be the £17 a day car parking charge which is managed through an ‘honesty box’ (that takes card!).
It’s a-bit steep in my opinion given what other NPs charge and finally, put a barrier on to make everyone pay - surely that’s fair?

Friendly staff- great information. Drove to Wyndham which was beautiful- highly recommend Avis rental at the airport.. they were Amazing!
However, a sour note, the private taxi service promoted by the centre was extortionate and blatantly a rip off - $40.00 for 4kms!!! ( Airport to town)
I spoke to the Tourist centre, about their recommendation- and was told t”that’s how it is”the proprietor of the private taxi is a member here and therefore we will continue to promote her!!!She mentioned the other taxis are unreliable.
I felt stunned and fleeced by This private taxi - and equally annoyed by the Tourist centres response. This experience was so different to anyone else I have met in Kununurra. It is the most friendly place- suggest finding alternate route from the airport.

I chose to do the one-day canoeing trip and regretted not staying for longer! The scenery is breathtaking throughout and I would have liked to have gone on further. Maka's instructions were easy to follow, and the service was excellent :) I'd highly recommend signing up for this trip to anyone who likes a bit of adventure and a guaranteed great day out

Had a wonderful day getting an excellent mix of cultural and natural experiences with an informative and down to earth guide. Multiple opportunities to take a dip in various pools culminating in a unique opportunity to experience the warm springs at El Questro. Scotty is incredibly passionate about the region and the people which shows in the way he gives reverence to both. If you only have one day in the Kimberley’s , spend it with him. Better still budget more time and get to see and do even more. All in all it was a great experience, one that we will fondly remember for the rest of our lives.

We went for the drink and weren’t disappointed. The tasting paddles are a great way to work out what you like, then order it by the glass - grapefruit gin on a hot afternoon, so refreshing. Pity they don’t do smaller bottles for those travelers watching luggage weight.

Beware of that evil crocodile; he or she is under the Bamboo on the left on the Kununurra side. I watched it - it watched me... and we agreed to meet another time!

Just beautiful. The bird and wildlife is stunning, could have stayed a lot longer watching the variety of birds and the salt water crocodile. A hidden gem.
