Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Terry GNorth Rocks, Australia821 contributionsMagic walk from El Questro Wilderness Park. Strongly suggest start walk around 2pm as you walk into the shade and cool rather than heat. About 60 mins up. Rocky and rough in parts. Some stepping stones across watercourse. I am 66 years old and had little difficulty. Good shoes recommended. Beautiful pool at the top. Another 60 mins down. Well worth it !!Written 26 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TWal1Canberra, Australia2,918 contributionsWe flew over the National Park in a helicopter and it gives you a great impression of the vastness of the Kimberley region. It is simply stunning, even at the end of the dry season. We were lucky enough to see small waterfalls too. While the helicopter tour can be expensive, it gives a different perspective and is worth doing.Written 2 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TedLos Angeles, CA17 contributionsDo not miss visiting this haven. We were lucky Mandy let us join a remote school group of children, who were delightful. The menagerie of animals was awesome. Such a very special experience we always remember, especially hand feeding the wallabies in their man made pouches & the beautiful dancing Brolga!Written 24 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JMSydney, Australia282 contributionsBeware of that evil crocodile; he or she is under the Bamboo on the left on the Kununurra side. I watched it - it watched me... and we agreed to meet another time!Written 31 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sandra KPerth, Australia39 contributionsSecond time on this tour and just as fantastic. Lucas was a top skipper- his knowledge, humour & hospitality were on point. Excellent value, with the drive from Kununurra with Bruce adding quality info with a dash of humour. We had a blast. Thanks for accommodating us on an off day.Written 22 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FarmerJ_on_the_roadMelbourne, Australia4 contributionsWe flew Aviair from Kununurra to the Bungles and back. Totally professional from start to finish — from booking, to the pick-up/drop-off service, to the warm welcome and safety briefing in the lounge and the flight itself. Very impressive. We expected great views but hadn't realised that it would be such a stunning scenic flight with terrific informative commentary about what we were seeing. The pilots ensured that passengers on both sides of the plane got the opportunity to see the sights. On the flight home, Ben was a particularly entertaining pilot and a great story-teller! (p.s. 2 days of walking in the Bungles was brilliant! If you have the time, stay over and experience the Bungles close up.)Written 3 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travelers x 2Warwick, Australia60 contributionsShannon in the Shoal air office went above and beyond to help us with transport on Mitchell Plateau. Thanks to her and because we were able to be a tad flexible with dates, we were able to get to Mitchell Falls. Can’t thank you enough.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- jezza17Nightcliff, Australia36 contributionsFantastic half day charter with Skipper Mat, he really made the day enjoyable.
Mat showed us some incredible scenery, stoped wherever we wanted to, and taught us some interesting facts about the place, it’s really great how he tailors the day to what we wanted to do, whether that be sight seeing or fishing!
After the tour of the lake we then finished off with some fishing which was great fun.
Highly recommend.Written 13 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
