Who knew there was a luggage weight allowance on a train for heaven’s sake !!! I had purposely loaded up my sports holdall so I could travel light at my seat . . . but ended up carrying 10kg of hand luggage because of the 20kg limit on my main luggage. This is no power or media connections onboard - apart from an old-style headphone socket to listen to the onboard commentary through. Surprisingly good coffee from the cafe carriage.

When we came here, we took the brewery tour, it was very good and informative, the only downside of the tour was the fact that it was disappointing that it was no longer a working brewery, however in saying that, the guide was informative and engaging. The restaurant was very nice as well.

This was the most flexible tour I've ever seen. If you can't find exactly what you want, just let them know and I'm confident they will work it out exactly as you want. I appreciated that everyone on the tour seemed to have a different origin, stays, and destination and was amazed they were able to keep everyone straight. I wasn't able to make the connections with other travelers I had hoped for, though, with all the turnover. The scenery was beautiful and I really lucked out with gorgeous weather. My name was misspelled at the train station, a small glitch that was easily overcome since I had copied my email confirmation to the notes in my phone and could access without wifi. The delivery to my hotel was a glitch that was not as easily overcome. The shuttle dropped me off across the street because.... there was too much traffic!?! So I crossed a wet road in the dark, wearing dark clothes, dragging a large suitcase and carrying a heavy shoulder bag in between the heavy traffic. Delivery to my hotel was a wonderful amenity, but I wasn't a big fan of how it was accomplished. Would have given a five rating other than that.

We did the walk again after a number of years and it was a good experience the views were stunning, looking forward to returning to do the Zipline in the future. Afterwards we enjoyed a good coffee at the Cafe but due to staffing shortages there was no kitchen open. That's such a shame when they are one the Wilderness trail and lots of cyclists were stopping off for food and refreshments

Great way to see the west coast. The weather held up at each stop for us to explore. Having a small group really sped up our journey.
