Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- EmmaPerth, Australia281 contributionsVery cool
So much history ....so many steps ..lol
We had a great guide " Garry" very knowledgeable, he is actually a geologist...and you can tell.
The depth of history this cave has is astounding.
The lake makes it so magical.
The hardest part is the climb back to the top...but just take your time...its definitely worth a visit.

Not very arduous for those who are older like us and very interesting in the viewing and listening throughout the tourWritten 8 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was beautiful, we were there for about a hour but managed to visit the farm animals and feed them, sit down with a beautiful view and enjoy THE BEST CHIPS and that's not a lie served by the wonderful owner Mike, to which we had a pint of ginger beer for my partner and a hazy IPA for me all from Margaret River.
Thank you for making our experience amazing, even though we were there for a short time.
We will be back. 5 stars.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - AJH47 contributionsVery nice clean beach, very popular for walking In the water with local rays.
Sadly on our visit the sea was a little rough and the rays didn't show up.
Still a beautiful beach, toilet block and shower in the car park.
Easy to spend a few hours layzing.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gfsc5Perth, Australia1,809 contributionsI don't usually review roads but will make an exception this time. Caves Road is a narrowish, winding, sealed road that takes you past wineries and through some lovely timbered countryside. It has a sensible speed limit but drivers need to be alert nevertheless.
Well worth taking a drive.Written 7 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Blondie16 contributionsStunning estate, very friendly staff who put in the time and effort to talk through the wines (even just before closing). We would love to come here again. The art gallery downstairs is beautiful too! One tip: check the maps and don’t take the horrible dirt road entrance of Steven’s Road. The road is in very poor condition, so approach from the north end instead!!Written 16 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Harry P1 contributionA fun little excursion for the family! Will be very entertaining for under 10s, and the parents will get a good giggle out of some of the attractions too.
In terms of time, most families could get 30 mins to an hour out of the illusions.
The cafe is stocked with top tier goodies too: Gabriel's chocolate is the best in the region!Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Valey JHafnarfjordur, Iceland92 contributionsIt is a nice area with lots of vendors, you could taste some wine or beer and get fresh veggies. There were a lot of places that sold food to eat right away and the Italian breakfast focaccia was really good.Written 18 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Then the view from the wine tasting hall out over the vines, with all that natural light. Something special for sure. Great wines and a great experience thanks to the team at Amelia Park Wines. Ask for the older wines menu too, if you’re looking for those aged a little more than the daily serve. Final point, we had the kids playing around outside and the team was all smiles with that too, giving them cold water when they came in and welcoming them too. That rounded things of for us. Thank you to the team.Written 16 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- andrew sBlackburn, UK53 contributionsVisited to taste the wines but ended up having the lunch. The wines were a little dry for my taste and cant say i found it amusing when a member of staff Mocked my pronunciation of Riesling in the cellar door, but the restaurant was another matter. Staff were friendly and attentive , the food was fabulous . Great value for money.Written 3 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
