Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Inspire249241194643 contributionsThe views were amazing and so were the beaches! Worth the trip down there! The sand is awesome and so is the water! Hit it up if you’re in the areaWritten 13 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dan LBunbury, Australia9,018 contributionsLovely small beach area but not on the Monday when we visited, wind cold and gusting and no one braved the sands. Like others, we took refuge at the cafe and enjoyed a warm coffee and meal while watching some distant surfers.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,752 contributionsRedgate Beach is popular with surfers but is a wild beach with pretty and quite rugged scenery. Care would be needed to swim here with many rocks and currents but one of the prettiest and more spectacular for sceneryWritten 23 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,752 contributionsThe Beach at the mouth of the Margaret River is quite pretty. There are wide expanses of yellow sand and good views up the river that is more a salt water pond rather than a river outlet. There are good facilities and it isa worthy of a visit.Written 23 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - car0leb66Brisbane, Australia260 contributionsThe road in was dirt, bumpy, dusty and rough. However it was not too far and well worth the effort. We only walked a short distance along the track towards the beach along the way as it was a hot day. However the view was amazing of wild and windswept waves crashing over the rocks. Picture post card brilliant!Written 27 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
