Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife & I visited Cape Mentelle Winery in the Margaret River region and took the food & wine matching tour.
Our Tour Guide was Ed, a really friendly, likable bloke who explained the whole wine-making process (from vine to table) very ably & clearly. We have both been on similar Tours elsewhere over the years but learned new information from Ed.
Ed welcomed our questions and is a great asset to Cape Mentelle.

Leann gave a comprehensive 1-hour behind-the-scenes tour knowledgably covering history of the vineyard, viticulture and winemaking. All delivered with great enthusiasm. Best tour ever at a vineyard and perfect prelude to wine tasting. Highly recommend

While people paying money for the tour....people who didn't pay still can enjoy the same things so kind of disappointed when you pay money to see wine making process on Video

A few minutes' drive from the centre of town. Located at the same spot of the cafe/drive-in coffee.

We were (with luck) the only two on the safari. We had full attention and could ask anything and tangent as we went. The host was young, capable, informative and explained in easy to understand language without being condescending.

We have an introductory tea from coffee beans. A couple of coffees made by different methods. A cold drip coffee and an iced coffee. We also got 250g each of freshly roasted beans. We were able to participate in a roasting session as well.

Great fun and highly recommend when you are in Margaret River.

Fabulous setting, excellent service. The 3 course menu was interesting. It was a pity that the chef felt unable to prepare the Black Angus sirloin to customer’s choice. My friend asked for medium and slightly more but we were told this was not possible!! Instead she got medium rare which is what chef effectively dictated. But for those culinary limitations, disappointing given the superb venue and price, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experienve.

A friend and I recently did this fun tour as our annual girly getaway, with the wonderful Kym and great bunch of 'girls'. We really enjoyed the organised activities - with some late changes due COVID and rain! Kym took it all her in stride and organised changes/venues without a fuss.
The yoga with Heather each day was varied and professional. I especially enjoyed her sound meditation at the end of each session. Shame we couldn't do the SUP yoga on the first day due strong winds but otherwise a beautiful walk along Meelup Beach did the trick after the bus ride from Perth. It would have been a great icebreaker and loads of fun.
The hike along the Cape to Cape was very interesting with local holistic healer Dan explaining the indigenous history and landscape and showing us the best surf spots!
Sarina the Spice Mistress knew her spices and her cooking was to die for!
To mix it up we visited some wineries and finishing off Giniversity to taste their wonderful Gin.
To top off our tour we visited Tim and Cree at One Table Farm where we heard how make the best sour dough bread. We tried our hand a making some rolls and pizza for lunch. Delicious! We visited Cree's garden and animals and heard about their future plans for the farm.
Thanks again to Kym for feeding us delicious meals and getting us to our destinations on time.
Glamping? Not Glamping but camping. Comfortable enough with tents and heavy duty blow up mattresses for our bedding. The grounds at Fair Harvest were lovely and it was nice getting back nature. But again not Glamping - 2 drop toilets to service the campground.
All in all a great time was had by all. Thanks Untamed Escapes.
