Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So much history ....so many steps ..lol
We had a great guide " Garry" very knowledgeable, he is actually a geologist...and you can tell.
The depth of history this cave has is astounding.
The lake makes it so magical.
The hardest part is the climb back to the top...but just take your time...its definitely worth a visit.

Not very arduous for those who are older like us and very interesting in the viewing and listening throughout the tourWritten 8 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Granddad IainOrmiston, UK183 contributionsGood parking and toilet block then a short walk to a spectacular beach. The big attraction is getting close and personal with stingrays who come up to you looking for food. Apparently anglers feed them spare bait. Best spot in by the jetty.Written 4 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Dan LBunbury, Australia8,538 contributionsLovely small beach area but not on the Monday when we visited, wind cold and gusting and no one braved the sands. Like others, we took refuge at the cafe and enjoyed a warm coffee and meal while watching some distant surfers.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia8,538 contributionsLovely drive, vegetation green and overhanging the road in many sections, not many blooms evident at this time of year. Our visitor awed by the majesty of it all and the many attractions on the nearby coastline.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,591 contributionsThe first vines were planted at Cape Mentelle in 1970, making it the fifth oldest winery in the Margaret River region. Since then, Cape Mentelle has gained an awesome reputation fot its wines, making it a benchmark for the region. The colonial-style estate and barrel house have become a magnet for visitors who want a gourmet-style meal, with estate-grown wines. Among Cape Mentelle's most-admired wines are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. No matter where you come from, you can be assured of a warm welcome.Written 7 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Blondie16 contributionsStunning estate, very friendly staff who put in the time and effort to talk through the wines (even just before closing). We would love to come here again. The art gallery downstairs is beautiful too! One tip: check the maps and don’t take the horrible dirt road entrance of Steven’s Road. The road is in very poor condition, so approach from the north end instead!!Written 16 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
