- Dan LBunbury, Australia8,538 contributionsThe Centre includes a major supermarket, discount department store, various specialty shops, restaurant and cafes, bank branch, news agency, bakery, liquor outlet; more a large town shopping centre than that expected in supposedly the region's major city. Its been scheduled for redevelopment since 2017, some shops have relocated elsewhere or just closed. Various fast food outlets and a discount shop are housed in other buildings nearby. The staff are friendly and the sweets are delightful.
We were even treated to a magic show. The engagement by the staff was the highlight. They have taffy making demonstrations and tastings.
We purchased so much chocolates, sweets and even ice creams.
Worth a visit. The kids loved it and afterwards the kids can play along the foreshore to run off the sugar high.
