What travellers are saying
- Marilyn c15 contributionsWe live in Adelaide and this is the second year we've visited this Art Gallery and we were not disappointed. Always different and so interesting. Loved it and feel a bit green-eyed that it's in Horsham and not Adelaide.Written 29 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travelling PixieAdelaide, Australia415 contributionsThis is a very small botanic gardens, you could see it in 10 minutes it you wanted too, however it is nice and tidy and after a long day in the car this is a nice space to stop and stretch your legs.
There is a playground for kids and if you’re staying in the Riverside Caravan Park it backs onto the gardens which is lovely to have as a place to enjoy the afternoon while the kids play.Written 25 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Personally, it one of my favorites on the silo art trail as the detail he gone into painting this is amazing. Work has been carried out recently 2023 by panting the side of the building and fence line to blend it in with the artwork theme on the silo.
World renowned street artist Sam Bates 'Smug' was commissioned to paint the silo and the black cockatoo on the adjacent flour mill again it blends in the story being told in the artwork. Looking from viewing area it's a massive piece of stunning artwork.
Photo tip - Early morning as l had no problem with light or shadows on silo or black cockatoo. Went on the weekend and got a great shot of the black cockatoo on the flour mill wall by putting lens through hole in the gate where padlock goes.
Had no problem using Google Maps to find this silo.Written 5 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The fenced, off-leash dog park is a bonus, as is the playground.
The easy walking loop across the weir and back again is a lovely stroll. We had lots of different parrots flying around, which really added to the nice experience.
A wonderful spot for anyone needing a break.Written 10 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. By luck, stopped to look at big pedestrian bridge crossing Wimmera river and
discovered great little undulating scooter circuit. Kids rejoiced and played.
Big slides and jogging over bridge also a fun delight.Written 23 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
