Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- garyhZ8250MVGeelong, Australia18 contributionsHop on hop off tram which visits various historic sites and Lake Weeroona. A fun way to see Bendigo on an old rattler tram. Drivers are very helpful and there is a commentary explaining the various sites you pass by.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sue gAustralia21 contributionsFour of us joined Peter Hanlon for a cultural and historical 2 hour walk last Sunday as something to do in the afternoon. I live in Bendigo but had 3 visitors from Melbourne. We were very impressed with Pete's knowledge of the history and cultural background of Bendigo. Even though I have lived here for 30 years I learned a lot. Pete was happy to answer any questions we had and supplied us with a display book with various photos to compliment his knowledge. The walk was quite short and I think most folk would find it easy. We booked it through Bendigo Tourism. $25 senior price. Well worth it. From the day we booked to the day of our tour, Neil and Maree were so helpful and worked with us on our tour.
