Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Tourist6472299415353 contributionsStopped here the centre was closed but the walkways were still open.
Nice walk out along the boardwalk, saw swans, birds.
Bit windy when we went but still nice.Written 8 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Really beautifully maintained with a passionate group of dedicated volunteers who can assist with any questions you might have. The gardens are so lovely to walk around and the amount of fruit trees shows us all that back in the day you didn’t need a Coles or Wollies, you grew your own. My only downside was unlike in Victoria with historical homes none of the furniture is original to the house but that’s just a personal feeling. The house is still alive today.Written 17 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tourist6472299415353 contributionsLilydale falls was such a pretty walk. Easy to do. Falls and creek are lovely. Only about 10 - 20 minute walk from carpark.Written 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nanette T432 contributionsAn unexpected find after visiting the monkey enclosure in the park.
The Museum holds the earliest radio and record players through to now. A very knowledgeable gentleman (volunteer) took us on a journey in the variation in radios, transistors, turntable ensembles and records from a cylinder through to vinyl. The museum is linked to a Community Radio Station where you could sit and have your photo taken in an empty announcers station.
Very enjoyable and an eye opener re the quantity and cataloging of collectibles. The volunteers also showed an absolute passion in taking us on an unforgettable tour!

- SydneyTravellerSydney470 contributionsWe’d been here a few years ago on our last trip to Tasmania, and the kids had loved it so much, we came back.
The team at Hollybank Adventures is so organised and it is so well run with safety always at the forefront of their minds, that it’s a pleasure to support this business. They were also kind enough to change the date of our booking at no extra cost, as our plans had changed.
The kids did the ropes course again and loved it. This time the second activity they chose was the Segway, instead of the mountain bikes again and my husband joined them. They had lots of fun, but unfortunately my husband fell off and was injured (it was his fault because he wedged himself between 2 trees by accident).
My husband and I drove to lilydale falls nearby and did the 20 min beautiful walk whilst the kids did the ropes course. I’d highly recommend it too.
I also went for a walk around the area when they were on the Segway and came back and had an excellent chai latte and sat on a sofa by the fire at reception whilst I waited for them to come back.
I’d advise anyone doing the Segway to wear very warm clothes around this time of the year (April) because they said it was freezing with the wind from the movement and being in the shade.Written 26 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - heidisallySydney, Australia120 contributionsA great day out. We had booked a half day tour which due to numbers was changed to a full day. However it was excellent from start to finish, had a lot of food as well as wine and a good variety of wineries to visit. Jeremy was a good host- knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend this company.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
