Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We probably didn't see this in all its glory, nevertheless it was still an amazing to see. We caught it after a ton of rain and the river through the gorge at its raging best. There are a number of walks to do depending on your fitness level. The suspension bridge is an experience with a little wind and people walking across, best to keep your phone in your pocket while crossing. Keep an eye out for some of the local wildlife while on your walks.

A very informative guide. Free for Tasmanians which is a nice gesture. And the beer tasting was a bonus , getting 3 different beers to taste.

Fun park to visit with monkeys! Lovely conservatory and nice gardens with occasional signs telling of the history. A must for every visit to Launceston which takes less than half an hour

We did a self drive winery tour of the Tamar valley and it was so great. Lots of little quirky wineries run by the couples that own them. Loved it!

Recently saw the nature photography exhibit and it was so well put together with a good amount of space. Brilliantly executed. The shop also had some wonderful gifts that were mostly local which was really refreshing

Absolutely excellent! The same chairlift since 1972 & it's super cool! The views are just stunning with the lake, pool & walking tracks. Like that it didn't go too fast & chairs were well spaced out. Appreciated the voucher in the entertainment book too!

Amazing to step back in time and see this wonderful historic home that was saved by the National Trust in Tasmania. Really beautifully maintained with a passionate group of dedicated volunteers who can assist with any questions you might have. The gardens are so lovely to walk around and the amount of fruit trees shows us all that back in the day you didn’t need a Coles or Wollies, you grew your own. My only downside was unlike in Victoria with historical homes none of the furniture is original to the house but that’s just a personal feeling. The house is still alive today.

The views were amazing, especially Cataract Gorge. We were lucky to arrive a day after the Trevallyan Walk reopened after an extended hiatus and were able to experience the full beauty of the gorge. We will be back!

Beautiful designs on display, and a good range of stylish gifts. The building itself is lovely to explore.

Excellent staff - happy and helpful - chatty with good humoured discussions on the differences between us New Zealanders and those of Oz. Nice relaxing trip across and return later. Even able to chat to people on the ground below

A fascinating delve into not only Tasmania's history, but Australia's as well. Well worth a visit. We spent over 2 hours looking around the estate. Our guide was extremely well informed and knew her history very well. Thanks for a lovely day.
