Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- jeanpaulstokerGold Coast, Australia63 contributionsWhat an interesting motor museum to visit - brings back memories of our past - s many different type of vehicles and motorbikes - everything was clean and highly polished - looked amazing - a must visit if in the areaWritten 7 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DrueMelbourne, Australia99 contributionsAmazing to step back in time and see this wonderful historic home that was saved by the National Trust in Tasmania. Really beautifully maintained with a passionate group of dedicated volunteers who can assist with any questions you might have. The gardens are so lovely to walk around and the amount of fruit trees shows us all that back in the day you didn’t need a Coles or Wollies, you grew your own. My only downside was unlike in Victoria with historical homes none of the furniture is original to the house but that’s just a personal feeling. The house is still alive today.Written 17 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ToowoombatouristToowoomba, Australia297 contributionsRun entirely by volunteers, this small but impressive tram museum is a little gem!
Cheap as chips to enter the museum and have a short, but enjoyable ride, on the restored tram. The displays are informative and extremely professional ...even a non- tram enthusiast can find things to look at while browsing through the small shed.
The devoted volunteers make this place as special as it is - their devotion to the details in the restorations and their personal knowledge of the Tasmanian tram system is priceless.
A little tourist gem, that should be given as much assistance as possible to expand in the future.Written 16 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Museum holds the earliest radio and record players through to now. A very knowledgeable gentleman (volunteer) took us on a journey in the variation in radios, transistors, turntable ensembles and records from a cylinder through to vinyl. The museum is linked to a Community Radio Station where you could sit and have your photo taken in an empty announcers station.
Very enjoyable and an eye opener re the quantity and cataloging of collectibles. The volunteers also showed an absolute passion in taking us on an unforgettable tour!
