Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- InsertnamehereuseridBrisbane, Australia216 contributionsFantastic beach. Lovely clear water and view to Gold Coast. Plenty of space.
Shallow entry into water is great for less confident swimmers, kids and dogs. Dogs are allowed on the public walkways on a lead, and on the beach on a lead - just not within 200m of the flag area. Dogs are not allowed on the parks near the restaurant at the southernmost end.
Ben and Jerry's near the beach for an icecream on the way home.Written 5 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was lucky enough to get a carpark opposite the beach as it was jam packed, not too many people in the water. Has a beautiful restaurant located on the corner and clean public toilets.Written 11 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David NBrisbane, Australia2,029 contributionsThis is such a beautiful beach that we have enjoyed every time we have come to Broadbeach. Located opposite the Broadbeach Mall and easy access to all the Broadbeach hotels. There is plenty of white sand making it also perfect for a morning or sunset walk.Written 17 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KylePort Macquarie, Australia2,799 contributionsClean and well maintained beach with white sand and great views on your left looking at the highrise lifestyle in surfers paradise and on to your right you got the tweed, snapper rock views. Awesome spot currently with the whales migrating with awesome views on elephant rock using the free binoculars but even better as alot of whales come close view of the vikings resturant and sometimes close but not to close infront of the shark drumlines for a real close up. One of the best beach's on the gold coastWritten 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Ozzy-KunnuMelbourne, Australia3,067 contributionsOne of the most beautiful beaches in Gold Coast that isn't too crowded or touristy, and a perfect spot to start our trail walk to Burleigh Head Park, that runs along the coastline.
Most of the beaches including Burleigh Head is crowded and frequented by locals but this one, looks like, is always less on crowd.
Although we started our trail walk from Miami Beach to the Burleigh Head National Park as we did not have much time and had to leave for Brisbane, you can start from anywhere you are comfortable walking.Written 19 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah TAustralia359 contributionsA gorgeous day had here, we stopped in after looking at this spot over the years and tried out our new SUP. This place is popular, has parking for 3 hours so timing is everything and worth a browse drive by to score a park when someone is leaving.
Patrolled beaches and depending on tide great space for young kids or people who don’t really swim to feel brave, try new things and paddle around on a board, SUP and snorkel. There are some fish to observe.
Loves: patrolled beach, tide dependent, nearby shop and bakery for some easy bites, drinks or icecream. Bathrooms are clean, well maintained and stocked with paper. There are a few shower access points around, BBQ and some seating about. A tree area near the bathrooms has Astroturf to find a spot to sit.
Note: parking, if you are like us, you may be super pumped that you found a park so close to the beach and not notice the three hour parking sign if parking near the bakery. Be sure to check parking signs, other parking I observed includes on the other side of the creek and easily walkable distance to pitch an umbrella or lay down a carpet.
Sand is hot under foot, if you have sensitive feet be sure to account for it when walking down to the water. I was grateful it was a short hot footed walk and wished I had worn the reef shoes.
We were glad we stopped in and will come back another day soon.Written 31 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CodyMavGold Coast, Australia27,254 contributionsAccess Echo Beach by swimming or paddling from the southern side of Tallebudgera Creek, or along Ocean View Track from the small carpark for Georges Paragonrestaurant, this less-accessible beach is a delightful respite.
You can also take the longer way from Burleigh Heads if the ocean view track is open (track is gated and closed during bad weather)
In keeping with the nearby Jerrurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre, there is a lovely indigenous piece on the timbers behind the beach also.Written 4 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
