Our Featured sort order ranks tours, activities, and experiences by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, your individual user browsing history and preferences while using Tripadvisor, the frequency of user clicks generally, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
This trip is amazing! Short trip to the snorkeling spot. Great small group with an amazing crew, Lexi was our guide she was helpful and knowledgeable about the animals we saw.
As soon as we got in the water we saw 3 turtles straight away and from there we saw 2 sharks a school of sting rays and at least another 15-20 turtles as well as different fish. Highly recommend to all.
Was great fun. Another tick on the bucket list. Staff were very nice and comfortable considering that it is a bit scary. Great visuals, great fun falling and then floating to the beach
Had a wonderful day exploring the Gold Coast, cape bryon lighthouse, the farm, surfer paradise. The roadside bananas were a sweet surprise . Wished we could stay longer! Kudos to our leader as he braved the weather and kept us truly entertained.
Welcoming, informative & professional. A clean, tidy, modern & comfortable minibus. Great communcation. Great day, plenty of stops (your not sat on bus all day), incl a stop in Bangalow to really give you a feel for a typical town in NSW. The Farm stop does good coffee & chocolate donuts! I had left a bag on the minibus, and Trevor went above & beyond to help return this to me, whilst I travelled the east coast! So thankful. Thank you Trevor
A really great experience and I loved every minute of it. Great young team and crew, professional and knowledgeable. I will do it again next year. Highly recommend.
Great morning out on the water with very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable crew. Learnt a lot about the whales, the ocean ecosystem and marine life in general which added to the experience in the down time between the swims. All the snorkel gear is also provided and support given to help with perfect comfort and fit.
Every effort was taken to provide a whale swim experience however never at the expense of the marine life or outside of regulations which their environmentally conscious and sustainable practices is the reason why I booked Cooly Eco Adventures to begin with. It's not just a business name, it is eco-friendly!
An epic experience topped off with fresh fruit to snack on for the return journey. Will return!
My niece has never been diving, and on recommendation from a friend, decided to book this in with her to see some leopard sharks. The tour did not disappoint, it was fantastic. No stress gearing up and briefing, a lovely ride out to Julien Rocks in which we saw a big pod of bottlenose dolphins on the way out (and back), and very friendly and knowledgeable guides. The water was oh so blue. We were surrounded by leopard sharks, saw turtles and overall had a great time. Our guide had been diving here for over 30 years and it really showed. What a standard to set for a first dive!
The guys that took our trip where amazing with my young daughter she was really scared and I thought she may not get in the water - but she wanted to do it, they took time to put her at ease and she really enjoyed it and felt very safe , great guide wanting to share knowledge. I managed to pick up on the time zone change between NSW and Queensland ( I wondered if people had been caught by this prior), they were available by phone to confirm this and if not they ring you back .The reef is not world class by any means but I’m happy seeing anything alive - and enjoyed looking around and of course the stars of the show - what a treat to see turtles in their environment was a bucket list for me. It was choppy I didn’t take a sea sickness tablet which I really regret - if you are prone to this take tablet prior.
My Son Zak and I decided to learn how to surf. James hooked us up with Arthur who is an incredible coach and my 10y/o son was up and surfing in the first lesson. Two more lessons down and he was popping up and riding almost every wave he could, Arthur was extremely patient and a bloody good guy! I would absolutely 1000% recommend this well sorted operation if you are keen to learn or improve Excellent !!
Cris and Jeff took us out and we had the best times. Cris shared all her incredible knowledge and was so fun whilst jeff was kind /friendly and kept us safe on our trip . We were within arms reach from Multiple whales and they were so respectful of the nature . We will go again absolutely . Thanks for the best time Guys !!!
