Another lovely iconic Gold Coast beach good for surfing and swimming. very photographic. Black volcanic rocks on either end protect beach from wild weather,

Visited on Wednesday 16th June. We had always just look at Snapper Rocks from the lookout above so this time we went down for a closer look. Very busy with surfers enjoying the waves.

Easily the best beach on the Gold Coast and property prices are starting to reflect it. Because this beach is North facing and protected by the point, it doesn't get affected by the afternoon sea breeze/winds like Surfers does. The water is consistently turquoise in color and the temperature is amazing. It's also a very protected beach to teach the youngsters surfing. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem.

We climbed up from Coolangatta expecting a dramatic view and we were rewarded with a stunning outlook south across Coolangatta and north all the way to Surfers Paradise high rise building up the coast.

Visited on Thursday 17th June. Well worth going to check it out. It is situated at Point Danger on the NSW/Qld border. There are great views and plenty of walking tracks there.

Rainbow bay is on the southern end of the gold coast strip. A lovely sheltered beach and quieter residential location.

Brilliant sunsets great surfing off the point when the swell is right.

Visited a few times whilst staying at Mantra from 14th June to 18th June. We just used the Woollies store to get a few things and the hotel at street level. It's the only supermarket in Coolangatta now unless you want to drive to Tweed Heads.

Sadly, there aren't many historic sites in the Coolangatta area, but this lovely church is one of them and is worth a visit. It's just up the hill from the beach - an easy walk.

As St Peter’s was my church growing up it is distressing to me to see the sign which says the site will be built on in the near future and in it’s place a high rise building will stand there.

A delightful congregation in a quaint chapel style church where the Sermons are interesting and meaningful.

My 18 year old had been surfing beach breaks for 5 years and had transitioned from a foami to a 6.9 board but had been struggling in perfecting his pop and wave positioning. Jamo in one hour managed to get him popping and carving the face of the wave with the greatest of ease. The change in his capability was impressive and I thank Jamo for helping him transition to the next phase of surfing journey.
Your patience encouragement and experience is priceless thanks.
