This was the 3rd stop on our drinks tour day, after visiting the Bundaberg Barrell and Kalki Moon Distillery. We were booked for 1pm tour which included Blend your Own Rum Class. The tour was informative, had 2 tour guides, Lisa and Shaz. Shaz, was ok, but Lisa was more engaging with her communication. The blend your own rum was fun, but a bit disjointed, it was led by Shaz. Felt we could have learnt more around blending rum, but was glad we did it. Pretty neat that we can now order our own rum direct. Would recommend Blending your Own Rum Tour, and also recommend arriving 30 min before your tour, so you can spend a good time in the museum before hand.

Wonderful facility, lots of information about the work to preserve turtle habitat and breeding grounds. An interactive turtle discovery activity, gift shop and cafe on sight. I can recommend the coffee. Clean toilets and wheelchair access. Parking is a bit limited but there is an overflow car park.

For gin lovers, this is a definite must. The brewery offers a large range of flavours that are brewed on site.
The taster boards are well priced. Nibbles can be purchased, as can basic other food.
The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Very extensive gardens, we visited Fairymead House and then the Chinese gardens before driving further around. Being able to drive around here was a huge bonus for us as we would never have seen as much as we did otherwise. There was also a Japanese garden which we didn't get to and all areas were very well maintained and set out.

Such an interesting interactive place . A real in site to Hinklers beginnings, life and feats . Much praise to those who started the whole idea and process of bringing Bert’s house from Southampton, England.
His legacy is inspiring to say the least !!!
Very helpful staff - Thankyou !

Visited in a motorhome the NRMA caravan park along with our small dog- everyone loved it! Such a quiet beach and the other residents in the caravan park were just gods beautiful creatures- the cafe really couldn't handle the volume of coffee orders - however apart from that- this was the perfect week away

The Bundaberg CBD is full of historic buildings and tree lined avenues. Great for a late afternoon stroll.

Second year in a row we have got to do this experience. The rangers are brilliant and informative, some of our hatchlings did not make it and the ranger explained to everyone why (heat) but also answered all the small children's questions.
This is a must do if up in Bargara. We booked straight away with ticket sales and still got group 2

Splitters Farm was enjoyable for the whole family. The animals and site in general was well looked after and the facilities are the best we’ve experienced! The family shower room was a wonderful addition for bathing the babies whilst my eldest showered.
We didn’t see inside the safari glamp tents, but they looked very spacious from the outside.
We also experienced top customer service whilst there and after our stay.
Thankfully they had changed the pizza night to Saturday which meant we didn’t need to prepare dinner after arriving and setting up, bonus!
We will be back as a stop over when ever travelling north 😁

The Hummer Lookout is easy to get to by car and just off the main road. Plenty of parking the day we were there.

As the sign said "The Hummock is the weathered and gently eroded remains of a small basaltic volcano" which was active a million years ago.

Great views from the sea at Bargara to Bundaberg and the hinterland.

    Well worth the visit.

We enjoyed visiting this unique place, interesting history, you can easily do this in 1/2 hr. Nice to be able to see it from the viewing platform, not good for people with mobility issues .

We were warmly welcomed by Chantelle the minute we stepped into the visitor centre. The information Chantelle gave us really helped us organise our time in Bundaberg and she gave us many useful tips and booked us onto a local tour. One of the most helpful visitor information centres we’ve found on our holiday.

When we visited, passionfruit and Strawberries were in season. We tried both and both ice creams were absolutely delicious. Heading back tomorrow 😋
