One of the best playgrounds I've ever visited. Huge range of activities and appliances to keep the kids interested for an extended period. Picnic tables, shade and café for parents to sit and watch.

I had been looking forward to ticking this big thing off my list as I don't even remember it being here the last time I visited Tamworth. Information centre was a little sparse on for the type of info we were looking for, but the staff were very helpful and assisted us with finding the geocache.

So much to do for kids. Great sails to protect you from the sun. Love to bring my grandchildren over here one day to play. Somuch for all different age groups and skills.

We arrived at 3.30pm only to find it shuts at 4pm. Friendly and helpful attendant told us to view what we wished in the half hour and gave us a pass to re-enter the next day. We did so and spent about an hour or so which surprised me as I am not a country music fan. Video presentations are very informative and entertaining.

Had some time on our hands before heading off. What a great place to visit, the history around the first municipal powered street lighting in Australia was interesting. But the museum also had a bit of the history of electricity and a whole of electrical appliances for by gone days.
The guy manning the display was very helpful and added to history of the place. Do visit

It's only 2 rooms but it is free entry, so it's worth a brief visit and it's right in the middle of town. A few nice items on display, you can see everything in 5 minutes if you wanted to, it is quite sparse but any effort to showcase local art should be encouraged.

This a park where there are acres and acres of space to wander. The lake is full I presume 100%. A busy place on weekends and quiet during the week. Amenities were clean near caravan park. My only complaint was that we asked for concrete slab not avail being here 20 days would have been better , surprise that we saw slabs empty surely a good park can juggle sites ... but not here or they couldn't be bothered.

The Hands of Fame resembles the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, without the same glamour. The Hands of Fame has been around for a long time, it's fun seeking out your favourite performers; it could do with some conservation work.
