This is on the back of another wine tasting experience today where the lady was the absolute worst. Massive props to Ivanhoe for having fantastic staff and an amazing experience. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the wines and views. The Lady (sorry but I can't remember her name) who served us was absolutely beautiful. She gave us and our son a wonderful experience. The wines were first class too. The wines were exceptional, and the staff was fantastic. The staff are brilliant and they have a number of different styles f wines. I hat the taste of wine, but one of the staff didnt give up. He managed to find a wine, that I could drink. - emmdee9Sydney, Australia68 contributionsVisited today with my daughter. The lovely Craig took us to the tasting area as the lovely Mark was on a call. We chatted for a while till Mark came over. We asked if we could share a tasing as my daughter and I are lightweights when it comes to spirits. Mark was very accommodating.
6 test tubes are sat infront of you as you make a selection from the gins, liqueurs and vodkas. Both of us tasted each one as Mark gave us a description of what we were trying and how to use it with mixers.
We had a few laughs as the alcohol got to us just a little. He even shared a dad joke 😄
Was a fun experience. Mark, Craig and Liam were so friendly which made the experience a good one. We went home with lychee liqueur and chocolate vodka 😋

However, the delightful Lana, who facilitated the tasting, was the star of the show. Some of the vineyards date back to early last century. The 2022 Premiere Chardonnay was the crowd favourite. A last-minute request for a cheese board added another dimension to our experience because we ended up with a great food and wine pairing. The quality of the wines was outstanding but it was Lana’s understated, highly informed and friendly demeanour that really made for a great visit.
