Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My partner and I had a wonderful kayaking tour. The tour guide is very professional and knowledgeable about the native environment. Highly recommended for anyone and we will definitely come back for another tour.

A fantastic day out in the ocean & a great morning tea. It was wonderful being out in the water. I’d never sea kayaked before but felt safe with the instructions and guidance.
Loved it so much I booked the 2 hour glass bottom kayak tour the next morning.

We highly recommend this tour. Steve, our driver and guide, is a local who has intimate knowledge of the area and took us to many great locations we would not otherwise have found, along with great commentary, a trip certainly worth doing.

As a solo traveller in my 60s, I embarked on this 3 day hiking trip with a bit of trepidation. I needn't have worried! Our guides, Gabe and Eva, were so friendly and welcoming - as were the rest of the group. We were all firm friends before we got to the top of the steps at Maloney's Beach! Visually, the walk was beautiful, even though we had intermittent rain every day. The coastal scenery and the bushland were spectacular. Physically, the walk was incredibly satisfying. While we had some long distances to cover, it was well within the capabilities of all our group - and none of us (except our youthful guides) were spring-chickens! At the end of each day, we felt pleasantly tired; at the start of each morning, we were ready and excited to walk again! A wonderful experience that I thoroughly recommend. Oh - and the food was great! Healthy and satisfying - and plenty of it! :)

A day well spent. Definitely worth the many sea views. Although we didn’t get a chance to see some whales, we still got to see other amazing creatures of the sea like seals and dolphins. Our tour guide Amy is lovely and very friendly.

By far one of the best things we have done in the coastal area. We did this as something different and it was one of the best things we did over our whole weekend, the whole day was tailed to us and what we wanted to do at our own pace with plenty of opportunities to stop for brakes. Steve is a very easy going bloke who is also grate to have a chat with and very mindful to give us a balanced experience of being able to enjoy each spot by ourselves and at the same time give us lots of interesting fact about the land and a little bit of history when asked. Each spot we visited was better than the last so many beautiful places and steve knows all the best little tucked away places, steve also organised lunch which just made the whole day so stress free and gave us the opportunity to take in the sights we normally miss because we are just passing through or busy driving. I could go on for hours about how good this experience was I would give this a 15 out of 10

I went with 10 friends. We are retired or semi-retired members of Cronulla Men's Probus kayaking group. The 3-day 40km paddle from Shallow Crossing to Batemans Bay was a very enjoyable experience. Dave and Liam were excellent guides. Highly recommended!!

My friends and I are recent exchange students and we absolutely LOVED our experience with Region X and our tour guide! The views were beautiful and the kayaking was enjoyable. We had so much fun snorkeling and relaxing on the beach drinking the best ginger tea I’ve ever had. So grateful for our tour guide Mike and the amazing experience! Can’t wait to go back!!

Mike was so considerate for taking free pictures of the group so we didn’t have to risk dropping our phones in the water!

This two-day experience was so rewarding! I was initially drawn to and thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking - we pushed through some rain which didn't affect us at all! This was my first time on this kind of trip but I was so pleased to be accompanied by amazing, welcoming guides, and met some cool new people. The food was beyond my expectations as a first-time camper - so nutritious and plentiful. Lots of equipment provided, I didn't need to bring much. And the yoga session was so relaxing, especially after a whole day of kayaking. This trip made me feel so grateful for Mother Nature - I hope to join more trips, connect to the environment, and gain new skills! Thank you Region X! xx

Absolutely amazing experience! The pizzas were delicious, and there is plenty of room at your legs to store any leftover pizza to take home or eat at a later date. The guides are super knowledgeable and we learnt lots of fun facts about the region, flora and fauna. Would definitely recommend, a super pleasant evening activity.
