We visited as a family group - mother, father, 3 boys 12/9/7, grandparents and a great grandmother. The Eurobodalla Regional Botanical Gardens are an absolute gem. They are beautifully maintained with very modern facilities. Easily accessible paths and just fine for a wheelchair and mobility scooter - we had one of each. A fabulous playground for the children. Beautiful meadows and extremely spacious. And perfect for a family as zero entrance fee for all ages. Their cafe has recently changed hands and is now extremely well run by the folk from the Mossy Pacific Cafe at Mossy Point - great coffee and a wide range of food. Very good signage. A very enjoyable experience.

After plenty of setbacks this much-anticipated event finally happened last November (2022)...and what a weekend!
With some of Australia's best rockabilly bands (in my opinion), awesomely cool cars, great facilities, a great night time venue (Batemans Bay Soldiers Club) - all coming together to make for one of the best weekend events on the East Coast. We can't wait for the 2023 weekend (we booked last year so we won't miss out).
If you like great bands, a great atmosphere and a good time - then this a must-do event that you can't miss!

We enjoyed a wonderful couple of hours at the wildlife park in Feb 2024. It’s a humble little place but it’s lovely to know that most of the animals there have been rescued. Some of the grounds and paths are a bit unkempt but it made for a unique experience as each area / enclosure was seperate and quite private.

There is a great range of birds and other animals, and we enjoyed holding a snake and seeing a wombat up close. The staff were knowledgeable and wondered around answering questions and telling us facts and stories about the resident animals.

A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

There are other matters to consider, when "Bateman's Bay" is considered in a wider context of pioneers, police, indigenous inhabitants, exploration and nearby settlements.

There are examples and background in each room - which seem to go on, just around another corner. One is an example of every tractor model ever built, carefully constructed by a local model enthusiast - very enthusiastically.

Well worth several hours - rain or shine.

well worth the short drive out along the Kings Highway, the views of Batemans Bay are truly excellent. A short 1.5km dirt road to get here is not in bad condition - any car can handle

Lovely ocean views on a nice day and you can drive & park right at the lookout. There are two sides of the point to see and both are easy drive on a sealed road.

Access to Corrigans beach; beautiful bay views. Looks like a popular local fishing spot. Clean and closely located to local accommodation.

A shopping mall in a surf city, this the biggest local shopping mall. If you need last-minute beach supplies, this is the place to go.
