Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- KATHERINE N2 contributionsWhat a great idea to combine a library and a museum, the displays had lots of historical information on the area and a great exhibition on Alice in Wonderland for the kids. Add to this the library a cool place to relax out of the heat to read a book or go on the net. The information centre is also there as it has moved from the building near the train stationWritten 18 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julie G8 contributionsVery welcoming staff and such interesting exhibits. I love the little hidden sculptures for the kids to find. Well worth a look if you’ve got a hour or so to spend in Albury.Written 23 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - maryan5456Sydney, Australia158 contributionsThe single staff member at the Tourist Information was very pleasant and knowledgeable. There was a fair amount of literature that she gave us to study for our cycling on the nearby rail trails. It’s located near the railway station in Albury and is very central.Written 25 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - C...Victoria, Australia87,438 contributionsI was here twice over a period of a couple of days... I found the car parking a bit weird, but on my second visit I got better at manoeuvring around it. It's a lovely little shopping centre located in central Albury.
The first time I went to Woolworths to purchase morning tea for local staff. The second visit was to have keys cut... whilst I was waiting for the keys to be cut I walked around to see what else was available. What I did find weird is that it was after 09:00 and Myers was not open... most of the other stores were. Apparently they do not open until 09:30...I am not sure why it has a later start.
Nevertheless, the staff I interacted with in a few stores were all really lovely. I enjoyed my visit to the centre and I would return if necessary again.Written 23 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbyrossAlbury, Australia38 contributionsIt’s a pub with a bistro and a beer garden. Dogs are welcome. Beer is cold. Food is good. Misters keep the heat at bay and there’s always sport on the telly and a pool table. You don’t need to dress up, but you can if you want. Nobody will hassle you if you don’t cause trouble. The bar staff are friendly. Go there if you like pubs and you’re thirsty or hungry.Written 5 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
