Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Schlepper1939Brisbane Region, Australia883 contributionsThis peaceful and well laid out garden is well worth a visit if visiting Albury. Unfortunately we had insufficient time to do it justice, but is on our list for a return visit when we have more time to fully appreciate it.Written 28 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kirsten and HenkBrisbane, Australia436 contributionsFree camping area , scenic views, toilets, bbq area. Dogs allowed and small fires. Very quiet area. Was filling up by end of day. Can park on water front or further back. Lovely area.Written 7 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VictorianladMelbourne, Australia18,002 contributionsAn enjoyable walk with the added bonus on the return of plenty of seating in the well maintained Albury Botanic Gardens.
I especially liked how the monument is in line with the similarly whitewashed footbridge built about a decade ago over the Sydney - Melbourne rail line and noisy Hume Freeway.Written 29 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Noreuil was the scene of a fierce engagement between Australian troops and the Germans on 15 April 1917.
Interesting... I did not see any information signs to give you that background, but then I was only there for about forty minutes. It's also not my first time to the park... I have grabbed takeaway from a bakery nearby on another occasion to eat here and found it to be peaceful.
On a recent trip, my co-worker and I were making our way back to our accommodation and I insisted on going for a walk through the park... he was happy to join me. Immediately we were impressed with the show that nature put on for us with the light across the water.
Everything about this park sings ... it has well maintained lawns and paths... with a boardwalk next to the river. Toilet facilities and BBQ facilities... Fitness equipment and a playground... views of the river. Landscaped lawns and established trees. The blending of nature with the city scape is thoughtfully done.Written 14 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rafael Acién MartÃnez103 contributionsA nice place to walk, If you are living in Albury or you are here passing by, this place it is a good spot to spend some time.
You will enjoy the walk as well the different kind of animals that you would be able to see (up to the season) such as Pelicans, turtles along different kind of birds. If you are lucky you may see the platypus.Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a large, comfortable waiting room with some areas separated (so I expect they can be more easily kept warm in winter). The seemingly endless platform was especially impressiveWritten 16 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KATHERINE N2 contributionsWhat a great idea to combine a library and a museum, the displays had lots of historical information on the area and a great exhibition on Alice in Wonderland for the kids. Add to this the library a cool place to relax out of the heat to read a book or go on the net. The information centre is also there as it has moved from the building near the train stationWritten 18 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maurice CMelbourne, Australia243 contributionsA wide range of contemporary art, supported by very helpful staff. Large contemporary display space in a very modern building carefully connected to two heritage buildings.Written 31 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jenn PWangi Wangi, Australia460 contributionsWe walked to this beautiful church from our accommodation. Set in magnificent grounds, bells ringing before & during the service was lovely.
Made very welcome. Loved the choir. They are up above, which was a shame, as I love a choir walking down the aisle singing, and back again at the end of the service. Not possible with this church. Organ music was awesome.Written 5 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I just couldn't turn back because I didn't want to miss what was around the next bend. Gorgeous sandy riverbanks, wetlands, birds, birds, birds, and an utterly stunning sunny winter's day. I love the Murray! Who knew?Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
