Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was a rainy day in Queenstown. This outdoor mall has lovely shops to check out. For the restaurants, most have lunch that ends at 2:30 p.m., and they do not reopen until 5 p.m.

I stopped the area and noticed the spire of the church. There is a nice gateway which leads into the church. I didn't go in but did have a look outside. The stone building does look quite nice.

I did this tour in the second week of January this year With Queenstown Heritage tours. It was a memorable tour! My guide Wolfie was an excellent guide and an amazing driver. As required, we went in a four wheel drive on a mostly gravel and narrow road. The views of the valley and the river were spectacular. There was high tea at the end of the drive which was really good. Strongly recommend this trip if you would like to do something off the beaten track in Queenstown. Beware this trip is not meant for people who are afraid of heights!

The old power house is very close to the One Mile Creek Carpark, probably less than a 5 minute walk. I came down the track from Thompson Street and ended up here as I was walking down towards the lake.
The building was interesting to see and there are signs around about the history of the building. The building was closed off so I was able to just look in from the outside. It was an interesting stop and there were a few seats around. It was nice to walk along the creek.

A really nice walk along the lake. Pretty among the trees with birds and the constant backdrop of the remarkables. Every angle of the mountain view gets better and better.

The stute itself is OK with the view behind of the lake and is probably the busiest place in Queenstown. The are usually buskers and there is a few places to eat.

Such a great memorial to see and walk through, it is not that hard to find as it is on the lake front and you can walk through it so im sure some people would miss it
