Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- natclayQuinns Rocks, Australia211 contributionsWe thoroughly enjoyed our drive to this remote lighthouse. The scenery is beautiful and the drive itself is part of the adventure. The fur seals are an added delight, lying in the sun so close to the road. The climb up the steps to the lighthouse at the top of the hill is hard going but worth it for the view. A fantastic way to spend a couple of hours.Written 12 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bety24Te Kuiti, New Zealand77 contributionsReally nice walk through the valley and the rock formations are really beautiful. Be aware that way there is just up, and walk through the “river” basin could be chalenging for someone. Lookout is really steep hill so be prepared for little hiking.Written 4 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoAnneWellington, New Zealand2 contributionsI’ve been going to Zamm for several years now, and she never fails to provide me with the insights and direction I’m seeking. You just know she’s onto it and “gets it”. She’s kind, empathetic and constructive, and her advice also always comes from a place of personal and spiritual improvement and development, which is so important when facing life’s ongoing challenges. Highly recommended - she’s always on the nose and delivered!Written 3 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Astrid24 contributionsGreat eacaperoom experience, one of the best rooms i have tried! The room was beautifully decorated, truly an immersive experience. We did the Temple room, it was ranked a 7/10, which felt accurate. Some straight forward and some more tricky puzzles, but nothing far fetched or impossible. A great choice for a rainy or windy day in Wellington!Written 21 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jessica M2 contributionsPermanently closed in Wellington as the company now makes consumer virtual worlds and games. If you are looking to license the game for your arcade this can be done via Synthesis VR.Written 10 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MichelleLondon, Canada18 contributionsGreat tour of Wellington coast on a very windy afternoon in August - views along the path are breathtaking, my tour guide Kali stopped along the way to provide details on all the unique art and history - loved it. The turbo boost on the bikes was an added bonus when battling the winds and made it so much fun - paths are wide and allowed me to take in the views along the way - I want return and rent a second time before I leave the island next weekend!Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicole C5 contributionsAn unique experience as we traveled in a 4WD going past wonderful scenery. Hillary was a fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly guide. There wasn't a great number of seals as we're told it's breeding season.Regardless, it's a wonderful experience if you want to see seals in their natural habitatWritten 4 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hannah C2 contributionsI highly recommend Dive Wellington! They were professional and very friendly. Our dive site was right across the street, so a super easy walk down to the water and we were off. Very cool marine life and our dive master showed us some cool things along the way.Written 9 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DeeLovesToTravelBlairsville, GA93 contributionsWe did this as a cruise shore excursion - small group of 12. Nigel picked us up and drove out of Wellington, into the mountains. It was raining but that just made it more of an adventure. They outfit you with rain gear, boots, gloves and helmets, then a brief training session. Then they spend about 20 minutes in a practice area to make sure everyone knew what they were doing. They gave us the option of riding in a big 4 wheeler with Nigel driving, and after about 10 minutes on the quad, I chose riding with Nigel, which turned out to be awesome! I got the fun of flying around the mountains without having to worry about where I was going. Plus Nigel gave me lots of info on the area as we drove, so bonus tour guide! My husband had a blast on his quad bike, so a great time was had by all.Written 18 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Phil Hare8 contributions2 Day Fallow Deer Hunt
What a great Boys weekend. we had a group of 5 with various experience levels with both hunting and rifles,
Matt and Jose where great teachers on the tricks of hunting fallow deer for those of us that where first timers. Must admit they both have the patients of saints with the two younger members and eyes like hawks to spot them at times.
Great atmosphere and enough food to feed an army. If your looking for a boys or family weekend i would recommend this trip to anyone.
we all came away with having had an awesome weekend, a good sized deer and some great memories. Look forward to doing it again in the summer.Written 25 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
