What travellers are saying
- Michael2810Hampton, Australia1,042 contributionsA relatively short course but a well laid out track. We played it off the back tees and you have to be accurate with your drives otherwise a difficult 2nd shot in. Greens are generous and in good condition, though much slower than I’m used to. The fairways were pretty dry and thin so not a lot of good lies there. The wind made it even more challenging. All in all, I enjoyed playing there and would play here again.Written 13 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bill CNewburyport, MA91 contributionsThis is a beautiful course and fun to play. A bit out of the way but well worth the ride. A variety of geographical features and wildlife are part of what this course has to offer.Written 22 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bill CNewburyport, MA91 contributionsI have played this course, front nine only, now for the fourth time and cannot wait to go back. This course is out in the country and is very quiet! It is well laid out and fun to play. On the first visit my daughter hit he first tee shot and hit a feral goat that lives on the course. On my wife's first visit we were treated to a fly by of green parrots! This course is far enough away from the hustle of Wellington that it is uncrowded even on the weekends. Please play here after I hVe left for home! Just kidding don't miss this venue.Written 22 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Richard JWhangarei, New Zealand3 contributionsIf you want a round of golf in Wellington, these are the guys to go with. I didn't play very well but I had fun at Karori. The course was in great condition and it was a nice scenic drive out there. John and Michael showed me round the course and told me what to aim at but the ball didn't always cooperate!!!! I had a good laugh with these guys and highly recommend.Written 19 December 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Neil BWellington, New Zealand332 contributionsThis golf course is very challenging, with some steep fairways. There are a number of great holes on this course.
The clubhouse at the adjacent Mornington GC is spacious and the members are really friendly.Written 24 August 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
