What travellers are saying
- bigbeast007New Delhi, India440 contributionsWent to this stadium a couple of weeks back or so to watch a T20 game between England and New Zealand. I've watched this stadium many times on TV and must admit it looks a lot bigger on TV than what it actually is. The capacity is around 30 thousand I think. Food and drinks are easily available and overall seeing the players from quite close was a great experience. Really had a nice time there.Written 29 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TravellingkavsHastings, New Zealand131 contributionsSome ways to improve. .
Take better care of the ice. The ice was in a terrible state, gouges out of it and snowballs all over the place.
There needs to be a seperate time for those that are advanced. With the speed of the much more advanced going around young children who could easily fall over... it was just asking for fingers being run over.
Getting a grabone voucher was all good and well, but you don't realise untill you get there you're going to be stung with a $10 per hr hirage of the seals. Makes it add up mighty fast when you have multiple children, and realistically majority of kids who go will need one.
Was a fun concept but definitely could do with some improvements for people to return.Written 1 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - camaronzHastings, New Zealand279 contributionsCame here to play pickleball and was amazed at how busy the complex is, I guess this can be attributed to the amazing team who are enthusiastic about their job and always happy to push to make a wide range of activities available. Will has done a great job of getting Pickleball started in Wellington, thanks.Written 28 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ShelleyhobWellington, New Zealand35 contributionsNice staff. Good pool. Would be good if they had an allocated buggy area, not great having buggies on the changing room. Hard to keep clean then.Written 23 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

It's a safe little playground with a table for a picnic and benches to sit on under shady trees. Ideally suited for toddlers but the older grandkids enjoyed it too. Easy to find a park and not too far from the busyness of the Newtown shops and hospital. Lovely bird life and the bonus of a wee Bush walk. Well worth a visit.Written 26 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Susan ROttawa, Canada151 contributionsWe visited twice, the first time to stroll through the building (which is open to the public) to see its wonderfully decorated lounges and corridors, and the second to watch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It's an old school cinema, the kind big pictures were made for with seating for hundreds, but modern upgrades in sound and screen. Comfy seats, stairs without railings so be careful, busy at the concession but quick to put people through. Bought tickets there ahead of show time.Written 20 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
