    Review of: City Gallery Wellington
    Art integrates with psychology
    It was the first time entering since last year. I managed to see the current bi-exhibitions this month. It was amazing with integrating Maori customs and Photography together. Thus, there is psychology involved with tactile art. Moreover, the energy was intense and touch me emotionally. There is an old saying 'picture tells a thousand words.'

    Review of: New Zealand Portrait Gallery
    Interesting
    We popped in on our way to another gallery, this wasn’t the main reason for being in the city.

    We love and collect art so we did enjoy the visit, wasn’t too much to look at but if you read everything word for word maybe you would spend 30 minutes here.

    I see the exhibitions do change every few months so you may see different artists depending on when you go.

    If you are there and love art, pop in. The building that houses the gallery is art in itself.

    Review of: New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts Academy Galleries
    Depends on the exhibits
    When we were there the gallery was devoted to works competing for an up and coming prize. As always with modern art, there will be some you like and some you don't. The best ones for me were actually amongst the kids exhibition. Eva and Rosa's Peace Pizza was as good as any of the competition works.

    Some beautiful artwork
    What a beautiful gallery. The glass work was fantastic and if I could would have walked out being broke. The ladies working were really friendly and helpful too.

    Review of: Kiwi Arthouse Gallery
    Original New Zealand art.
    At the Southern end of Cuba Street, Wellington's most famous street, this art gallery specialises in New Zealand art. Most works are original oil paintings and water colours; there are also limited edition prints, drawings and also some inexpensive smaller prints and postcards.
    There are changing featured artist exhibitions, but always lots of different artists' works to view.
    Some artists are world famous and others are of the emerging artist category. A lot of the art is of Wellington but not strictly so. The gallery is tiny and the walls are fully utilised; this is not one of those two artworks per wall type galleries.

    Quality Customer Service
    Amazing store. Super friendly, helpful and informative. Have visited here numerous times and am always greeted with a warm welcome everytime. Would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone.
