Highly recommend this tour. Jon Salter was an excellent guide he was so knowledgeable about the food industry in Wellington. He took us to places that you would NEVER find on your own. A great morning spent exploring different food outlets in Wellington.

Must-see for LoTR fans but also great for film-lovers in general. Also fantastic for creatives and artists.

Did the basic tour but it’s pretty much what I needed. Everything that I needed to know was covered in the tour. Also the collectibles and items for sale in the Weta Cave store is so cheap. I bought 2x Tungsten Rings official replica and some shirts. Also they have the exclusive items on store. Looking forward to visit the Auckland Weta Workshop.

We spent two very enjoyable hours here with one of the volunteer guides walking around Zealandia. We learnt about the origins of Zealandia, saw lots of birds and tuatara and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'd spent the previous day and many more $ on a tour of the north end of Kapiti Island and this was a superior experience in every way. Take the opportunity to go and support this extraordinary achievement before it is once again overrun by visitors from overseas.

Possibly the best museum I’ve ever been to. A great afternoon, kids were engaged, parents were engaged, exhibits were excellent and the whole experience was exceptional. Very low expectations and I was blown out the water by how good it was

I've been to Te Papa on previous occasions but havent had time to really take in the Gallipoli exhibition.
Last week i did and spent a couple of hours just at this one site. It is the most brilliant and moving thing that i have ever seen. By the end i was just about in tears.
The reconstructions are beyond belief and they are beyond life-like. It is only their size that convinces you that the men and women shown are not actually real!!!
I think this should be compulsory viewing for all young people who might be blase about war and the romanticism that is sometimes attached to it

What a fantastic way to explore Wellington’s (sometimes hidden) cocktail gems! We thoroughly enjoyed each and every drink & location. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic night tour with very knowledgeable guides (Thank you Alison and Team). The wildlife didn't disappoint. We saw kiwi, tuatara, weta, takahe, a native frog, glow worms and gherkin slugs, as well as sighting or hearing other native birds. What a special place to visit.

A dusk tour offered the best of Zealandia, with the start of the tour having a plethora of bird song and flying birds catching insects. Lots of tui, piwakawaka, takahe that came close enough to eat your shoelaces. A number of tuatara were sunning themselves. After a hot cuppa provided by Alison and John, the tour guides, we started the night portion of the tour. Kiwi and tuatara were again to be seen, along with glow worms.

Easy walking paths with seats to rest. There are steps to assist those of short stature to see tuatara.

Visiting Te Papa Museum was important for me because I am staying in rural New Zealand for 6 months and, although I had availed myself of You Tube videos, I needed to know a more comprehensive history of Maori culture.

From the start, the money was well worth the highlight tour. It wetted the appetite of my curious nature about the wonderful and mysterious Maori people. Warrior/whenau. A family oriented warrior culture? Who knew that many Maori can name the boat their ancestors travelled to New Zealand on?

There is no way you could cover this museum in an hour or even an afternoon and do it justice, but the tour introduced me to places and customs to explore in person. It was a great place to start my 6 month journey to the land of the long white cloud!

Highly recommend! I booked in for a very large group (19 people) and staff were super helpful at making sure we all had an excellent time across 2 rooms. We did the Spaceship and Temple rooms as they're both at the Johnston Street office and everyone had so much fun. The staff were really lovely and the rooms were very detailed with cool puzzles. Everyone said that it was by far the best escape room they had done so bravo Escape Mate! We'll be coming back to do Atlantis very soon :)
