I had an excellent meeting with Zamm. She identified the challenges I'm currently going through and provided great guidance moving forward which made a lot of sense to me.

I bought a honeysuckle perfume from Fragrifert and it smells delicious! The service was amazing- Francesco was so kind and helpful! The entire vibe of the store is so cool as well. Will be coming back to try another perfume when mine runs out!!

Our cruise ship docked on a particularly cold, windy (of course!) and wet Saturday morning in Wellington. Walking along Lambton Quay, in a virtually deserted CBD, we espied this haven of tranquility and peace. The fit out for such a small space is wondrous, attesting to the skills of NZ's craftsmen in the rich textured wood, the glass cabinets displaying row upon row of artisanal chocolate delights, beautifully presented, even in the boxed offerings. The female servers were friendly, so polite and super-efficient. Our coffee had us in raptures after the rubbish we endured in Hawaii and - big bonus - they offered a free chocolate of our choice from the many displayed below the cash register. Although we could have had various wraps and muffins, we opted to share a lemon slice and were almost in ecstacy, so good was it! The total cost for two coffees and that melt-in-the-mouth goody? NZ$14.50. Plus another NZ $6.00 for a block of their mint chocolate - perfect as souvenirs provided they survive our covetous need for more.

I love books and I can’t resist this place. It doesn’t help that they have an expansive window display that proves irresistible every time I walk past (at least once a week). The great thing is I am temped by titles I never knew I wanted and from that I am beginning to understand my wife’s similar love of shoes!

Best hot chocolate ever ! I have tried hot chocolate at number of places but after drinking one at "Bohemian Fresh Chocolates" you will never be able to enjoy a hot chocolate at another cafe. My personal favourite is the "Raspberry Hot Chocolate" (53% dark chocolate).

Great selection of vintage fashion. Pretty expensive though. Two for one sale was on which made prices just reasonable

A must do when in Wellington! Chocolates made with love and amazing skill. So much to choose from, lovely staff. The hot chocolate is also to die for. Beautiful gift packaging too. There’s another shop at 109 Featherston Street.

We are grandparents over from the UK. We saw photos of this bookshop on the web and decided to take our grandchildren there for a bit of fun on a grey Sunday afternoon. The stock was amazing and the staff were really helpful. We sat on a little sofa in the toy corner and took time to make a good selection for a seven year old and a four year old. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff.

If you want a wide variety of souvenirs, from tacky to fancy, this is your place. It's a lot of good stuff in a small space.

I love the hot chocolate that they do here. It's a different flavour every day - Rose, cardamom, chilli..Quite unique too, they have a little metal canister with the hot chocolate just simmering away. Smooth, rich and velvety. It's perfect for cold wintery day!

I visited this shop after a recommendation from a local. I was on the hunt for some tasteful and special gifts for my family after a short work trip to New Zealand and I wanted something more than the usual toy kiwis. I found some of the most breautifuo jewellery and gifts - from local New Zealand designers. My daughters love their earrings and necklace and my husband got a kick out of his cuff links. My aluminium cuff has been complimented the twice I've worn it. I also picked up a number of nicely priced gifts for my children's school teachers - tasteful and unique gifts that were OK to transport back to Australia. Would highly recommend this shop and a sneak pea of their wares can be found on their website.

Great boutique vinyl store, stuffed full of treasure and the owner is a fountain of information, great tunes and interesting chit chat. The store is full of quirky bits and pieces that add to the whole good vibe. The t-shirts are excellent and highly original. If you're serious about vinyl go to Death Ray!

The best place in town to get made to measure menswear - the first place I go. A fabulous team both front of house and workroom staff who will take time and care to get you exactly what you want. They'll keep your fitting details on file so the next visit is even easier.
Great selection of modern garb from casual to more formal but they'll do what ever you like and get your new outfit fitted to perfection.
Hats off to Clare and the team!

Wandering through this store you are reminded you need a decent limit on your credit card or plenty of cash. Things are pricey but also quality merchandise is stocked. We were told by our guide it was closing down as it had been taken over by David Jones which would be in keeping with the quality and price of merchandise. The doorman is adorable and opens the door for you and makes you feel special. It is his job but he does it with a pride.
